And if ever I have cause to go to Australia, I can't know that I've arrived in Australia, unless I navigate there myself.

Australia - it's just myths and lies, frankly.
Used to work with a chap who was extremely intelligent normally, but very adamant that anywhere he hadn't navigated to himself did not exist, he was convinced he existed in a semi-Truman-like scenario ... very strange and couldn't be argued with about it!

Just to confirm, on balance, in all probability, I think that Australia probably is real

I say that because that's what they want me to think

I used to work with a conspiracy theorist who was convinced on chemtrails. "They" were spraying "chemicals" into the atmosphere to control the food confused Me neither.

At the time I'd just read this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Airbus-A380-Superjumbo-21... about the A380. I'm also a qualified sprayer operator, so can put chemicals on crops.

Any road, I did a few fag packet calculations based on the wingspan of the aforementioned A380 and it's range. A typical application rate of Roundup, that a lot of you will have heard of is 4 litres per hectare of chemical in 196 litres of water giving 200 litres/ha total volume. So if the 'plane was to apply 4 litres of Roundup across it's entire wingspan for its max range it would need to carry 400 tonnes of Roundup, never mind the water to make the solution up. Then it would need the tanks and a hossin' great pump to deliver fk only know what per hour volume would would need a lot of power. And some passengers an their luggage.

I asked my erstwhile colleague how the chemical were applied and told him of my calculations and that having read bout this plane and the 747, there was no mention of any chemical application equipment. He told me that "they" put the "chemicals" in the fuel. So, whatever "chemicals" "they" are applying have to be soluble in fuel, then be able to survive the combustion process and still work scratchchin.

It's also quite difficult to apply chemicals to plants effectively via a dedicated farm sprayer travelling at 10kph with the spray boom at 50cm off the ground, so one might assume it's even more difficult to apply chemicals properly with a boom height of 40,000 feet and a ground speed of 500mph

Just to add a little commonsense to the discussion if the powers that be wanted to drug the population circa 7.5 billion and spray these from airplanes from 30 000 feet they would need trillions x a trillion x x x x gallons of the stuff to even affect a fraction of the population maybe David Icke has the answer

No...

There can't be people that stupid...surely not!

I feel very, very despondent.

EDIT: It turns out it was a hoax, thankfully!

I was reaching for the painkillers then.

I was going to post similar. If you wanted to drug the population why would chose a method that dilutes it so massively that it would have zero effect. Simple maths shows how small a dose you would get.

Oh FFS, not this nonsense again....

I work for a major UK carrier. The only thing airlines pump into the atmosphere is huge quantities of exhaust gases produced by the high-pressure combustion of many tons of Jet-A1 fuel.

Sorry if that sounds boring, but it happens to be the truth.

Oh it's absolutely true.

I spent my entire military flying career dumping chemicals on people. Hell we even had special tanks fitted to the C-130.

I used to work with a chap who (and still does) host a fairly large Facebook page and Website on various conspiracy theories, and chemtrails would regularly appear on there with the rabid believers. I'd take great pleasure in winding them up by pointing out facts, but they just wouldn't hear it. Pictures of contrails would be posted and quickly inundated with comments agreeing that those are indeed chemtrails and what they did to us, oddly no one ever replied to the pictures I'd post of WW2 bombers, hundreds in one image, spraying colossal 'chemtrails' in their wake. One person even posted a cutaway image of a jet engine, going to great lengths to point out how they are a chemtrail conspiracy in themselves; there is just a 'propeller' inside making the aeroplane go forwards, and all the other stuff inside the cowling is there to facilitate the chemtrail spraying.

Nutters, the lot of 'em.
