Sheryl Crow Be Myself

I'll confess I never really bothered with her apart from that song that was everywhere what 15-20 years ago - All I wanna do or whatever and I knew she sang one of the more dull Bond songs.
However the wifes brother has just bought this CD and I've borrowed it and its actually quite good Half way there and Long Way Back are real growers
Well worth a listen

Try this for a sampler of how well she can write, play and sing.

Bit similar really, saw her supporting the Stones at Wembley in the late 90s and thought she was good but it's only in the last year I've become a big fan and realised she has made some great music. Will have to give the new release a listen. However the wifes brother has just bought this CD and I've borrowed it and its actually quite good Half way there and Long Way Back are real growers

Still like her debut 'Tuesday Night Music Club' and still play it almost 24 years later. Had a bit of a life has SC and this, I think, is evident in her music.
From her She also did an MTV unplugged set https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mxFgfH-gMQ

I've been a fan ever since Tuesday night music club. I had a look through my CDs recently and it turns out I've pretty much got all her albums apart from this new one, so I'll look that one up. I even liked the last one which was very much Country (and didn't do so well IIRC)...my son says it's 'the one where the dog is dead, the roof is leaking and her man has run off'.
Seen her live a few times at Wembley and the last time at The Apollo; the seats were double booked and we got moved...to the front row. Hasn't had too much success on the singles front apart from 'All I want to do', but I think there are some cracking songs on her albums.
She was a backing singer for Michael Jackson, was married to Lars Armstrong for a while, has suffered breast cancer and I think she has adopted at least two children more recently.
