Bought one of these at the weekend for £11.99. Tried it out last night .... brilliant, no more skinning knuckles and getting drenched with hot dripping black oil.
Seems like a pretty good tool for the money.

Bought an orbital polisher from there probably about 10 years ago now, a nice solid feeling unit, loads of power and works perfectly still. I think it also was about £12, worth every penny. Lidl and Aldi do some great tools.

This the 12v version that they sold before? If so might have to take a trip there!

Been using one for a few weeks now and it all works fine, the pipe for the dipstick could do with being a bit longer for vans with deeper sumps (like a sprinter) but it's fine, done maybe 12 changes with it so far smile

Any disadvantages? I've always supposed that draining via the sump drain plug was better because it tended to wash out junk from the bottom of the sump.
