My first was 45 when I was 18.. Awesome! I learned stuff that I tried on girls my own age later that shocked them although considered normal now.

This set me on a path of older women and as I worked a few years in a carpet factory employing about 3000, it was constant. Never had any problem with their age and a lot were at least 15-20years older than me and always up for it married or not (the married ones were the best, such great liars, no-one would suspect what they got up to). Got engaged to a girl nearer my own age back in '75 and that broke up as I had her mum too and got caught..

One lady I can remember a while back ago was a fit and curvy 66 year old. Bored with life at home, her three boys were married and away, her husband played golf and watched football, and the worst part of it for her was because she was being called 'mother' by her hubby. This is ok for her boys, but it really bugged her that she took care of herself and had more time on her hands, but hubby was too thick to realise this and basically, she told me that she was still keen and if her hubby wasn't going to pay her attention, she'd look elsewhere and she did, with me and my mate (not at the same time), and because hubby was focussed elsewhere, it wouldn't occur to him that his neglected wife at 66 would ever cheat on him as women are waaaay better liars than guys...
If this happened in the 70's she's about 106 now or dead......would you still?

Getting older, with less things to worry about and hassle me, I find it easier to speak about such things..

Always had an open mind though, and what was important to me was, and still is, love, emotion, selflessness, fun etc, Never really had much thought for material things, like houses, money, status, how society regards me, etc. I think that's why I still enjoy to drive my Corvette as a regular commuter car and got my first tattoo recently. Never did quite fit in with mainstream male expectations.

Didn't hurt my 35 year career as an NHS B8 bio-engineer though, with staff and a 'boys club' style medical engineering lab. I'll be retired soon with my 'gold plated pension', more time for the missus and lots of fond memories to reflect upon.

Time is short guys, you owe it to yourselves to live a little.. wink
Did anyone else cringe after reading this?

Steve if you're happy what you're doing then great, no need to justify it. Putting down something like the above makes you sound insecure tbh.

I suppose that its open to interpretation, but I love my life and I've no insecurity issues at all. I'm not one for keeping my counsel, I talk/type how I feel.. smile

I find people saying 31 and 26 is age gap very weird. That's not an age gap. That's noise.

35 and 58 is an age gap.

I can't ever see myself being attracted to anyone significantly older than me. I wouldn't really want to discuss their menopause on the first date, but never say never.

Bigger age gap is fine for a one nighter or bit of fun. Sod anything serious.

What a lot of older women do is get fat. That is not pleasant. If they keep themselves fit (kylie was a good example as stated earlier) then yes, they can still be fine but if they get a spare tyre and have a saggy arse then not so much.

Some kudos for choosing a C4 over an A80 Toyota 'Kama Supra'. Stereotype mode <off>

The C4, especially the 85-90 L98's are delightfully simple cars, well priced and such fun to drive. The L98 is like the old skool small block you find in an older C3 but this time with good economy and the return of the tyre smoking performance, but still with that old feel to it which I prefer to the newer revvier, Corvettes. All a C4 really needs is a dual exhaust and decent tyres.

The only way I can describe it, is if your familiar with Capris, the original 3000GT was a four speed, 'start in 2nd and shift to 4th' car, very quick and satisfying, that drove like a V8, whereas the 2.8i was a revvier motor that drove like an inline four, i.e. you need to use all the gears. That's loosely, how early and later C4's drive too.

Anyway enough of that, lets hear your older women stories and views, but especially stories! Woo!
