People posting 'inspirational' quotes by some random celeb which I bet they've never said. Instagram is full of this rubbish

Carry on is ironic. Their European tour has been cancelled due to fears, from the USA gubmint, that American citizens are not safe in Europe atm. berlintaxi said:

The dick replying that his diesel Jaguar XF is his" latest motorway whip" is just as cringeworthy. At lest it doesn't say 'talent scout' or something like that. That site really makes me cringe with all of the recruitment stuff on there.

I'm with you all the way on this. The sheer number of people (generally some sort of FX scam artist/affiliate marketer/life coach) who have reams of these supposedly inspirational quotes and pictures on their instagram feeds is staggering. Always related to passion/never give up/ignore the haters etc etc. Joe Lycett soles it up nicely

Those 'what car' threads where an Aston Martin is an option. I guarantee you will see someone say:
"Wouldn't it be nice to be able to say 'shall we take the Aston, darling?' and you just don't get that with an Audi."
They appear to genuinely believe that's a sign of class or something to aspire to and not a dreadful, overflowing bucket of cringe. Whilst on the subject of Aston Martins, I'd also like to nominate '007', 'SPY' and 'M15' plates for Room 101. Stop it. There are single-cell organisms as yet undetected by science who get the association between James Bond and Aston Martin, so highlighting the fact in what you believe is a fun and kooky way is just plain, old-fashioned embarrassing. Sell the plate, cancel your subscription to GQ and get some friends.
I'm over it now. Carry on.
