Don't know if these 2 have been mentioned... "licence plate and title/clean title".

'Dude" is another one that makes me think "wker" when mentioned.

"You're very welcome"

I'm not sure really why it grates. I guess I think either you're welcome or you're not. Maybe there really are degrees of welcomeness. Maybe the next time a neighbour pops round to ask to borrow my one remaining 10mm spanner, I'll just say "you're a bit welcome".

Over the last six months, the phrase "at the moment" seems to have been completely replaced by "right now" to the extent that I have to Google it to check I haven't made up "at the moment".

Not as bad as "from the get-go" which seems to have replaced "from the start". I presume another Americanism. hey ho.........

"on a daily basis" when "daily" means the same thing.

Why use 1 word, when 3 looks more impressive ?

Tweets that finish with "that's it, that's the tweet"

Well obviously. No need to say that really was there?

People referring to cars being known for “eating” certain parts. It just annoys me, no idea why.

That's similar to when people start a reply with "I mean" and then go on to say something which didn't need the initial "I mean"

I work with a guy that refers to me and some others as "Chap".

E.g.

"Hi Chap, I just sent you..."

I don't know why but I hate that expression
