The recent thread on fast Audi's getting knicked by crims seemed to say that theyre the perfect car for doing robbery's.

But hundreds of threads on here say that fast Audi's aren't a match for their competitors.

Sooo..

What car should the average Crim go for. ??

- Needs to carry 4 people (so they can dominate the bank)
- Needs to be able to carry four sports bags full of cash
- Needs to be able to outrun police and helicopters
- Assume some sort of shootout before making a getaway like in Heat.
- Performance is not to be limited by legal driving rules, so you can run lights, mount kerbs, speed etc.....

Not for the car buying thread. Assume car has to be nicked.

Golf R or a big engined diesel. Blend in and could probably outrun the coppers if you're ballsy enough

You don't need to rob a bank nowadays, it's all done on the internet from your living room armchair.

Trouble with the Golf R is the safety features... would the anti collision radar prevent you from running through a roadblock ?? Lane assist could help on a motorway, allowing the driver to assist in a shootout while being pursued.

Given how untouchable these scooter gangs are then i'd say a Yamaha T-Max.

Let's be honest the police use some appalling cars nowaday, anything with a bit go to it and an above average driver would get away

This. Only in a full police livery, lights, police radio, etc

Problem is, where do you go? Populated places have lots of CCTV but good to blend in to the crowd.

How far can you escape?
