Marvellous array of Malts there chap. Shortbread business sounds good too. We should really build a new trolley to accommodate the two.

It's not a bad start Bomma, I set myself a goal this time up, nothing over £30, other than the Kilchoman (£75) and the Ardbeg (£49), so far I've managed it!!!
The whisky and shortbread trolley will need a ticketing system or I fear there may be mayhem!!!!!

It wouldn't be the first time we've faced adversity old chap. A drop of Malt and a bit of Shortbread will be nice.

I'll get the old dog and the Remy out if needs be.

A sound idea, but after witnessing JimAK and Chunks after an Absinthe binge I fear a dog and a gun won't be enough, I'd propose Battert and Mrs Brassington armed and covered by the hounds!!!!! yes

Oi..... I resemble that remark!!

Never mind Battert & La Brassington.

Why not deploy Penrose?

He'd keep everyone & everything away.

fking Pelican.

I'd deploy him if all else failed. Would really be the final option though.

So what's the point in keeping him if he's the final option?

Costing us a fortune in 'compo' for all his victims & probably a respray on Batterts car after Fridays episode!

fking Pelican.

The Twelve Hours With No Posts Alarm must have gone off in the Trivial Towers Rapid Response Room. I can hear the unmistakable rumble of the Page Two Prevention Trolley from here.

Perhaps we should grease the bearings. We'll be having complaints.

Jim Ratcliffe: the billionaire who wants to arrest Britain's manufacturing decline.

In The Telegraph today this article is headed by a picture of British Engineering's saviour, Jim Ratcliffe, posing with a Land Rover outside The Grenadier pub in Belgravia.

All I can say is had wanted to have a pint in The Grenadier for a long time and eventually had the chance a couple of years ago whe I was in Belgravia on foot. I ordered my pint and gave the barman a twenty pound note. He put the change in my hand, I looked at it, we looked at each other and I said, "I'm not a tourist." He went back to the till, drew a ten pound note and added it to the coins in my hand. I shan't be going back in a hurry.

Sorry, what were we talking about?

Kinross actually, it’s about six miles from Kinell.

And what’s all this about arresting a whole industry? Isn’t there something no-quite-right about that considering the number of prison places have declined 0.689% in the last 17.26 months.
I can see a requisition of the East Wing coming up. It’ll be like the old days again ! I’ll dust down the censored book trolley.

In World News:
I’m visiting it shortly - it’s chocs away at 1500hrs. More world news when I’ve got there.

I seem to have developed a nasty cough. I'll try a pint of Benylin and report back.

Could well be right Jim. I'll be glad when this bloody 160 a day sponsorship deal ends.

£12!!!!! I can remember when my dad used to smoke 40 of those buggers a day!!!! He and my brother were both heavy smokers, i used to ask what it was all about and ask for one, he sat me down not long after my 16th birthday and made me smoke one down to the stub, coughed my ringpiece up and was sick, never smoked since!!!!
These excessively large sponsorship deals are very poor show, very poor show indeed!!! yes
ION We're off to Tullibardine today, I think I may be slightly squiffy after seeing as we're both doing the tasting tour but my lovely wife doesn't drink whisky!!!!! smile

I was trying to get here in time for the bacon roll trolley, but it took me 2 hours to get these bloody socks on.

Have I missed the clotted cream scone trolley? I'm starving.
