We have a google round thing you ask questions to. It knows the bloody answer to most things.

Google, how was it that some 1275 BMC A-series engines could be bored out to 1380 but some were scrapped attempting 1310?

It'd certainly be a sight to behold.

I've been to the tip / dump / recycling centre, call it what you will, today.

It's astonishing some of the stuff that folks throw out, one chap getting rid of a lovely looking wardrobe.
Might have had woodworm I suppose, the wardrobe looked ok though.

Don't worry there's very little chance of shreddage of the, uh, little chap!
And anyway, I'd end up only being able to walk about three steps before I ran out of lead!!!
Poor chap at the tip/dump/recycling centre, must be difficult having woodworm and still functioning!!!

My neighbour has rising damp that’s caused a nasty outbreak of wet rot if that’s helps. As they know my trade he keeps wanting me to have a look. Euughh! Worse still is the last the other side keeps wanting to show me her damp patch but that’s another story.
