Bomma, young chap,
Is there any more of that consignment of Japanese Scotch left in the dangerous chemicals locker?
You know the stuff:
"Genuine Scotch Whisky. Made in Tokyo from imported Scottish grapes".

I just need a small drop to clean some really stubborn burnt-on residue from the oven door glass.

Eta: I thought Daddy Pig seemed quite a jovial chappie.
I suppose it's all relative to what we're used to...
I'm afraid the Japanese Scotch has all gone old chap, no doubt the resident 'Whisky Hoover' can account for its disappearance.

There's some trichloroethylene in a black drum marked 'Merlot Grape Substitute' if that's any good?
Battert's been using it to knock up another batch of Communion Wine for the Archdeacon.
Did somebody mention my name?!?!?
Just back from a lovely Indian with some great friends, I may be nursing a wee dram!!! It's not Taiwanese!!

And in related news I’ve done sod all but sit in front of the fire this evening. Marvellous. Far too cold to do my ‘stuff’. Used lock nuts to get some studs off the head but banged my numb knuckles and gave up and it took half an hour for the pain to go.

I’ll try again tomorrow and do a thrilling update.

" why can't this be in the summer when more open cars are on the road ?"

Ginetta have multiple race series' to attend to during the race season so any open day is to be welcomed and secondly dude

no one forced you to sign up ,stay at home next time !

LOL.....biggrin

When I went to the Ginetta SS ,couple of years ago ,I drove the whole 250 mile morning trip top down ,on December 20th....blah

Yes Peri but we all know you'd drive with the top down even it was snowing!!! The problem with people like the bloke in the post is they're under some illusion the the world revolves around them!!!

Morning all, for some weird reason I went sleep walking last night at my folks!! Didn't have a clue where I was at 03.30 and managed to wake them up as I had gone through a closed door and was stumbling around in another bathroom confused

Hope you didn't suffer too many splinters!

I’ve been there, a food few glasses too. Also a taxi driver with a joint, a rag for a filler cap and a glove compartment push button wired up as a horn. Marvellous place. I can strongly recommend the Tollygung Club for good beds and the atmosphere of the Raj.

Important update:

Jeep accelerator pedal setup and linkages replaced and fuel pump rebuilt. Major clearup.

Trip to the dump and pink paint is still on the tarmac from the spillage episode. Oops. It’s also still all over the inside of the tailgate but am I bovvered? Nah

1. Yes.
2. Not that I'm aware but there should be one within taking and driving away distance.

I was about to post something that contradicts the vision I am painting of Flixton. Step daughter #1 lives there en famille in fine style in a huge Victorian house. Her new car is a BMW 3 Series Eco. It requires charging. When we went out last she unplugged It, switched the charger off inside the outbuilding and off we went. It was still there this morning in plain view. So, not all scallies round there.

I'm ashamed to admit I didn't drive 1 inch of yesterday's 240 odd miles top down ,arrived at the show and an MX5 arrived

shortly before me was putting his lid up but I didn't ask if he'd driven for 2 hours or 2 minutes.

I almost went top down on the way home ,but changed my mind ,and didn't.

Saw a few soft tops down today during my weird walk I went on......don't ask ,I'll post a weird pic tomorrow.

Been a while since I've seen one of these driven properly.
