Reduced from 25 to 35 ,that's rip off Britain for you.

The cheapy corner shop has some of that reduced to a fiver.

It might be a Chinese import fake.

Pints? smile Went out for a bit of session in Winchester a couple of weeks ago ended up at a beer festival at a pub didn't even know it was on, had a great time!!! Enjoy yourself!!!
My record is 27 pints. I chundered in the last empty glass filling it to the brim so exactly that ‘weights and measures’ would have been proud.

If that helps

I'm afraid mine's a paltry 19. Probably could have managed more but it was extremely hot weather and I think I had a touch of heatstroke.

I certainly felt a bit moby.

I woke up up on the roof of a Land Rover once. God knows how I got up there, I could barely stand the night before. Snowed overnight it did, I was bloody frozen.
We got into a bit of bother as we lost the keys for it. Searched high and low for several hours, even tried using a metal detector across the ground. It wasn't until the snow melted about three days later we could see they were lying on the bonnet.

And they make a stupendous noise. We may be the last generation to fully savour exhaust noise in all its cacophony. When we are very very old exhaust noise of any sort will be but a memory.

Unless the internal combustion engine becomes another sport of kings and we can go two or three times a year to marvel at twin overhead cams and down draught carburation.

Euphemism Bush would have been so much more TT.

Oh the stories Brassington has from her youth in the 19th century.

Millennials and Snowflakes look away now....

In a bush, or rather under it. Woke mid morning disoriented and heard a whirring.
It was my car. Sat in the driveway with the engine still running and the drivers door open....

Oh well.

It's a sad business. Doesn't bear thinking about.

Off At A Tangent:
TV dramas miss a trick by not having the engines still running, or at least the ignition on, after car crashes. They would have the opportunity to have the radio DJ booming from the car interrupting the traffic girl talking about congestion caused by this very collision to say disparaging things about numpty car drivers.

I turned 50 on Thursday.

Today we had Thunder and lightning with rain and it was the daytime so no great light show.

Had new lawn done as old one I could not revive and I have to water in the morning and night, watering @ 05.00 before work grrrr.

Apart from that I am living the dream!! or dreaming about living, all I know it is one of them.

Time to turn the spuds.

Discovered something new today.

Just got back from going to ASDA before they close. in the last 5-10minutes they dropped the price of their whole rotisserie chickens to 10p to flog them. Unfortunatley I cycled over there and wouldn't have been able to even fit 1 in the bag I brought. Though I'll remember this for next time I'm on foot.

I think you’ll find by next time they will all have been sold, it at least gone maggoty so I would advise against it.
