This is wrong. Sure, an Aldi - like any supermarket - attracts the occasional odd cove, but Aldi (and Lidl too come to that) is utterly classless.

I enjoy playing all of them, but being well into them, spectators at tournaments or on your local pub team, pretty council.Aldi and Lidl though, not council at all, they are positively middle class. No council kid will want to be seen with those weird off brand foreign food and no council parent will want their kid to be seen with those weird off brand foreign food. Iceland, Farm Foods, Home Bargains, now THATS council.
