I used to service the fire alarms in the salt mines at Winsford. Some of the old unused areas are now used for document storage.

Their are roads and all sorts of interesting stuff in there.
Cool place isn't it, went down years ago to quote for some dust suppression equipment

This morning I went to a McDonald's inside an Asda.

Do I win something?

ok, its sad because a 17 yr old lost his life giving it the beans on a motorbike on his hols.

but x factor star, holmewood, mass balloon sky litter release

this little spot on holmewood is quite like nothing you have ever seen in yr life. Apart from featuring on Police interceptors a lot.

or the FB video of a scrote angle grinding the lamposts down with a battery grinder, causing them to collapse on the main road.
Fixed that for you.

Amazes me people still think (no, that's probably the wrong word) that balloon releases are a good idea.

Love this comment:

A kid acts like a fool and kills himself
And the community decided to use a gas that's needed for medical equipment that's running out, and polluting with rubber and plastics

Yeah what a good thing that is

Why do they want to bring his body back to the UK?

What for?

I particularly like picture 6. The little girl in the background of the 'SON' balloons, with the 30p Happy Shopper Energy Drink. I thought these were no illegal to sell to under 16's?

And - Kelly Calvert, with whose family Anthony lived on the Bradford estate, said that as of Monday morning £3,300 had been raised towards their costs with more events planned - including an evening of music including Danny Tetley.

Using the lads death to raise some money, council!

Hardly council if they are trying to cover his funeral costs, doubt he had any life insurance, council will be if the clear off to Florida for a fortnight with the money raised.

I wonder this too. My wife’s cousin died in Goa recently (a trip for his 21st birthday) and the family brought his body back to cremate. The cost of flying it back was £15500. I suggested could they not cremate him in Goa with immediate nearest and dearest and fly the remains back as hand luggage and then have a scattering ceremony in the uk for wider family and friends - honestly you’d think I’d just teabagged their beloved family cat

Apparently the government/council will now pay up to £4k of the costs.

For cremation or burial. However if some one dies in another country it is possible to get the body cremated and just send the ashes back. My dad passed away while on holiday in Spain and it is an option given to me.

holiday insurance includes repatriation, but I understand they did not purchase it.

Totally agree and it was full blown alcohol poisoning, sent him into a coma and he died shortly after - he wasn’t an aspiring footballer or talent show/reality show wannabe though so loses council points for that
