One bizarre thing. Our daughter has a little plastic play house in the garden. That is upside down further away from the house. The little plastic table that was inside has moved up near to our house.

Wind moved some of our rattan seats around on the decking, around 5m movement. Somehow it managed to swap the order of the seats while it moved them. Must have been quite the dance! A bit of fence to the left of our property is hanging off. Keeping the neighbour's dogs out, for now.

Good storm. I landed this morning around 6:30L - right at the limits. In the space of 20 minutes it went from southerlies at 20kts to westerlies at 40. Netherlands is basically shut.

My wife reports a lovely dusting on the eastern edge of the Dales. Driver can't/won't take her to Manchester airport, as the roads into and out of the village are 'testing' to say the least.
