Dont care until the ground is white.

Cold on its own is pointless, we need snow!

Patience.

Get the real cold in first... otherwise we just get cold rain.

Sensationally cold here at 1000ft in Yorkshire Dales this morning. Proper Alps weather, perfectly dry, low humidity, not even a proper frost ob the car even though we hit -5 over night.

It’s still -4 at Southampton airport now and that’s at a whopping 43ft

Glorious day here in Grimsby on the east coast, -2 on the way in, a number of dark ominous looking clouds but now brightened up.

https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar

Suggest you use 'weather type on' to get the pink for snow, and 'Anim On' to see the direction the showers are moving.

You won't see too much today. Snow really starts on Monday.

There's an App too, search for 'Netweather snow radar'

It should be.

Bear in mind the rule of thumb that 1mm of precipitation is ~1cm of snow, and you can see the potential...

Weather men/woman at the BBC must have arses like griddle pans for all the sitting on the fence they are doing. Their forecast shows, a bit of chill and no snow at all. App on my phone not showing nay snow for MK but much colder temps. Thursday next week showing highs of -2.

Fact that MetOffice have released snow warnings for Mon/Tues and an England wide cold warning says differently to BBC (now using MeteoGroup info, not MetOffice).

Met Office 99% sure it's going to snow somewhere, for a bit, some time next week.
