Climate Change may not be a bad our best brains feared.

"limiting warming to 1.5 °C is not yet a geophysical impossibility, but is likely to require delivery on strengthened pledges for 2030 followed by challengingly deep and rapid mitigation" is not quite as upbeat as the Telegraph story,

Yes, some of our "best" brains have worked out that, if it is too late to do anything about Man Made Global Warming, then we don't need to pay them to tell us the scary stories any more.
So, now it isn't too late to do anything. Oh no. Definitely not.
Yes, it's been 'urgent' for years. It's also been 'not too late' for years. On the precipice, but still not quite. For years. Apparently. So, now it isn't too late to do anything. Oh no. Definitely not.
Lets face it, if there weren't so many idiot zealots praying to the gods of doom and climate change, Al Gore would not have made hundreds of millions of dollars from promoting it. That would have been an enormous shame as I believe he earnt that money quite genuinely without conning every sodding one.

It is an interesting situation: this has now been going on all of my adult life (born 1972): sooner or later (and this example seems to suggest sooner) the projections made 25 years back are going to come under media analysis for accuracy. It will be interesting to see the impact. As I understand it the correction this report has made is from 1.3 degree increase in mean temperature to 1 degree potentially puting it in the realms of statistical variance. Roll forward another 10 years and it will be fascinating to see how the media responds to another 'correction' if warming still fails to materialise. So, now it isn't too late to do anything. Oh no. Definitely not.
If this is all about evidence, when does the lack of bark suggest a non existent dog?
