Even the perfect Germans cannot avoid the greengrocer's apostrophe! This was a German tour bus at Birling Gap (Beachy Head). Look closely and you can see fat Fritz the driver asleep in the driver's seat.

It was the primary school fete this weekend, they had a stocks for the teachers so the kids could throw sponges at them.
I had a hard time keeping a straight face when the rather attractive Miss Smith was shouting out for someone to "get me wet"

That's not pedantry. It's just the difference between correct and incorrect.

As I’ve told Zoe, her sister, brother, and parents for ages, their stock reply is, “Everyone knows what we mean, even you.”
They’ll never see it as making themselves look a little uneducated, Zoe’s brother recently sent me a WhatsApp from his holiday, showing a view across a beach, to the sea.
The accompanying text read, “View from are balcony.”
I guess that he meant our balcony.

Wish I'd kept that, but it was a comment that you'd expect - "Can't you get that for £50 somewhere" - Can't find the post now though...

I did that, but as their parents are my wife’s brother and his wife, I was
severely chided by my wife, and told not to bad mouth her brother.

When the builder realises he can't fit another semi-detached into the plot of land, but is too cheap to pay for a new design...
