I drink my coffee from a Shakespeare insults mug. I bought it up in Stratford-upon-Avon when we stayed there and did a tour of various places associated with the Bard and his life.

He said he had been stroking the cat but was wrongly accused of trying to strangle it.

Hmmm?

Man wanted for burglary, with 17 previous convictions for 25 offences (and that's just the ones known about) including violent crimes, who flies into a rage when accused of strangling a cat and then threatens folk with house bricks, all while claiming to be "mourning" his poor dead grandpa?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and suggest that he probably WAS trying to strangle the cat...

I'm not going to go out on a limb but instead state the bleeding obvious that the whole sorry affair sounds as caaaahncillll as it gets!

What on earth is it with things like this, Ebay and suchlike that very often you see people who just can grasp their own written language??? Is it lack of education that they not only don’t know the spelling, but are oblivious to how dim it makes them look??
