No, you can get a crap one, a decent one is £22 - £25, but even then overpriced for what it is. I don't know where they get their prices from when a good piece of steak costs about a fiver.
Ever heard of wages, tax, overhead, insurance, rent or heaven forbid profit?

For £8 in the middle of Rome you can get a pizza and a large perioni in a sit down restaurant. Why on earth people pay double that for a takeaway from an industrial unit in Slough I have no idea!
Add the flight into Rome and the Slough option looks reasonable.
I'd far rather pay the extra to avoid Slough hehe

I can remember ordereing a pizza in Portland (USA) (think it was Papa Johns?) and collected it, noticed the box was stone cold. Only to be told “sorry sir, we do not cook them, you cook them yourself” and had to persuade the hotel kitchen to cook my pizza!! Which they did.

Who the fk would want to cook their own pizza!!!

Then I know what I'm eating.

Um, the D and PH pizza down under (in NZ at least) is totally ste and a _completely_ different product to what you get over here. It's hardly gourmet excellence over here, but its crazy that you actually think the two can be compared!!
Its the same quality in Oz as it is here (everything is ste in UnZud) but I cant believe people pay £8 a pizza. Then again, in Oz you've got so-called "Gourmet" pizza chains selling Pizzas or A$20 a pop (£13 ish).

I ordered a pizza last week and it came with no cheese.

I called the store and a new one was delivered within 20 minutes.

Why didn’t you just do that?
I always order mine without cheese...hate the stuff.

I'd have had it....smile
I also hate cheese, so as a consequence i have never had a pizza.

how do you order it? i thought cheese was a standard?

So it's actually a proper 'restaurant' (I use the word cautiously!) with tables and chairs?

In NZ it's purely a takeaway chain and is like something you'd expect to find down a Coventry back street!

So how much do you propose they charge given the incredibly poor profits of most hospitality businesses?

Whilst I do feel your pain here , it makes me wonder why anybody would order a pizza if they don't like cheese , akin to a vegetarian ordering a quarterpounder without the .....rolleyes

Haven't seen one here with tables and chairs.

However that is besides the point, the food tastes exactly the same. They are passable, but nothing to write home about. They're one of the few chain restaurants/fast food take outs that do taste the same as back in Oz (Nando's is completely different, so is KFC, Burger King is vaguely like Hungry Jacks but not enough, missing Red Rooster more than I should).

If you think there's any difference, I'd say you haven't been back down south in a looooooong time.

Wouldn't surprise me, I've seen people wanting to ask questions about the menu at a Micky D's before.

"Bunless" burgers used to be popular (not sure if the paleo craze has subsided yet)

Pretty sure as we speak KFC do a burger with no bun.

I would have thought a good % of the cost of Dominos is the franchise cost. They also have to buy everything from HQ, incl the food.

Thanks for all of the advice. I have only skimmed over it, but I understand that the recommended course of action is small claims court? I have started proceedings. If there are any decent lawyers reading this who fancy a pro-bono job, my email is open.

Seriously though... I'm still annoyed about PayPal's decision.
I've been buying high value items (even more than a full-price Domino's pizza) using PayPal for years because I felt protected by their reputation of always siding with the buyer. I've never abused it or taken advantage in any way but still felt safe... Now I think I'd be better off using a credit card in future.
