Things you should enjoy but don’t
Discussion
For me it has to be buying a suit.
Currently looking for a suit for a wedding I’m attending and quite frankly it’s stressing me out.
Can’t find anything I like, if I do they don’t have my size or it just doesn’t fit properly. If I had the money I would have a bespoke made to measure suit fitted but unfortunately I can’t justify the outlay.
What things should have you done that you should enjoy but don’t.

Parties.
Especially when you don't know noone. Awful buffet food, awful music, awful social club beer.
On the suit front, it is quote cheap to get a suit tailored after? I usually do this. Buy from Next and go to a place in Birmingham city centre to get it sorted.
They don't make 'Beer belly fit' suits...

Go to somewhere like House of Fraser with a choice of manufacturers, pick a suit you like and use their in-house tailor to make any adjustments. Obviously not the same as bespoke but a reasonable option.Currently looking for a suit for a wedding I’m attending and quite frankly it’s stressing me out.

Saves too much faffing around.

Why "Should" you enjoy buying a suit?
Very true. Convention is a funny thing but I don't think not enjoying suit shopping makes you strange.I don't like going on holiday, stresses me out to the max. I can't afford high end but its still expensive and I find the travel itself torture and then I nearly always find the hotel so poor if it was your home you'd be complaining to the council about the noise or the landlord about the condition of just about everything.
I find a suit these days makes you look like a salesman or a washed up old timer anyway
Haven’t worn a suit in 40 years, so can’t comment on buying... but hate them all the same.
I hate weddings and funerals and avoid at all costs. Far too much fake joy/sadness.
(Nobody came to my wedding and nobody is invited to my funeral).
I know, I sound like a grump... I’m not really. Just hate suits, which one generally wears to weddings and funerals.
