go to a place in Birmingham city centre to get it sorted.
Where do you go? I'm in Birmingham and have thought about doing this.

Going to the beach.

Yay, sitting baking in the sun surrounded by grit, what's not to like?
Agreed, give me a private pool, cold beer on hand, and a bit of piece and quiet anytime.
Not a big fan of that either, I'm told I find relaxing too stressful ha ha.

I'm happier doing stuff, my favourite holidays have been the sort you come back knackered and bruised.

I don't like arranging a holiday.

I love going on holiday, and being on holiday, but I find the process of arranging a holiday needlessly tedious.

I have money to spend, and most of the companies seem to make it very difficult for me to actually want to give me their money.

Slaters smile

There suits are very reasonably priced too and tailoring is free then.

Also heard Stitches is a good place to go

Fun.

When something is sold to me as "It'll be fun" it never is. Fun is only ever derived from unexpected sources. Anything that comes with a prediction of fun, I avoid like the plague.

hehe

Now our kids are both teenagers any pretence of enjoying it has gone out of the window. Last year I bought my OH the (expensive) perfume she requested & that was it.

Personally I'd sod off somewhere on holiday & forget all about it but she loves it.

Yep, the extension of pub opening hours was a godsend - if you wanted to go out drinking late you could at last do it somewhere where you didn't get fleeced to cross the threshold, fleeced again every time you went to the bar, and had to shout to make yourself heard.

Dancing to non-dance music.
So much this.

My misses, and my parents and all their friends think it entirely normal that if music is playing in a "party" situation of any kind, then one MUST enjoy having a dance to it.
I used to dance all night to techno, jungle/dnb, etc... but I simply cannot fathom how you are supposed to dance to "Fireworks" by Katy Perry or some such nonsense.
in fact, last time I was out, my misses and her mates were dancing to "Sweet Child 'o' Mine" FFS... not only can I not see how that's enjoyable, frankly I can't see how it's even possible!
