Its that time of year again.

Panic, stress, lack of sleep, mental block, and the constant fight or flight feeling. All because we cant think of a damn thing to get our other half.

So to anyone that's sorted, throw us a bone, please.

This year is different to most, she actually told me what she wanted: A pair of Hunter Wellies. Purchased.

And relax.

I have no idea currently.

Last year we said we wouldn't get anything really, and save so we could do a weekend away together, ultimately of course we both bought each other presents and we did the long weekend too, ended up in Riga.

Probably the same thing this year will happen...

Small flower arrangement, mainly in green and cream as they were her favourite.

Nothing.

She told me that we shouldn't get each other anything as we have enough stuff as it is.

I know, I know - that old trap etc. Will see what happens on xmas day...

I’ve had an eternity ring made by a PH’er.

It’s our 10th Christmas/Anniversary so thought it would be a decent present for both.

I just booked tickets to see the Lion King in London and also got her some perfume too.

She's been going on about one of these Beauty and the Beast Chip mugs from Primark and I can't find one from love nor money. Ended up buying one from Asda in the end as they have just started doing them.

Seems that all the unwashed walk into Primark, pick loads of them up and then immediately go home and stick them on ebay for 4x as much. I'm not falling into that trap!! biggrin

Nice place Riga, probably better when it's warmer I guess, when you say that you may do the same again this year, I take it that you don't mean Riga again.
As good as it undeniably is, one long weekend would cover it all I'd think.
Did you go up to the Skyline Bar, top of the Radison Blu Hotel, well worth checking out, although I've heard that they now charge non hotel guests €3.

ETA, I've ordered the enemy indoors some Agent Provocateur lingerie.

Howard?

I'm not sure yet, probably a designer purse or something, we tend to buy more stuff in the sales for each other hehe
I've told her what I wanted though and they've already been purchased!

In for the ideas........... (Then remembers this is PH).

I'm really struggling what to get, to make matters worse, its her birthday the same week so I need double inspiration.

I thought it would be fairly straight forward, except she's incredibly thoughtful when it comes to gifts for me, so need to think outside the box/nothing obvious to look like I have at least given it some thought!!!

I also had to get the Chip mug for some reason. ASOS also sell them, as do Firebox.

I have bought her some shoes that she wants as well, and will get her some perfume.

I haven't yet worked out what the "silly" present will be that she gets under the tree. I don't think she has clocked onto this year, even after 6 years together, that there is always something silly under the tree that is cheap but probably practical. A couple of years ago I wrapped up a bird feeder and a packet of bird seed separately, in different wrapping paper, just to keep her guessing. I think this year I will get her a cup holder that fits onto the pushchair we have for the upcoming baby. Yes, there is such a thing as a cupholder for a pushchair.
