This year is different to most, she actually told me what she wanted: A pair of Hunter Wellies. Purchased.
And relax.
If the wellies are for proper use and not just posing they're rubbish, take them back and buy Ariat. Hunter went bust and another company bought the name and the quality has dropped massively. I've got a pair of Hunter wellies that are over 10 years old and still good, wife bought some of the current ones and had to take them back, local tack shop won't stock them. And relax.
If you really want to be posh buy her some Dubarry's.
I bought my wife some Dubarry's which have lasted years and she has bought Ariat wellies that are much better than Hunters, when mine finally wear out I'll buy some Ariat ones.

Nothing.
She told me that we shouldn't get each other anything as we have enough stuff as it is.
I know, I know - that old trap etc. Will see what happens on xmas day...
Riiiigggghhhtttt.............She told me that we shouldn't get each other anything as we have enough stuff as it is.

So what are you buying as your 'back up' gift?
I'm not up for this bs! If we agree that we're not going to get each other anything...then I'm not getting her anything.

Buy the back up gift, wrap it and hide it.
If she gets you a present... ta-da!
If she doesn't, then hey, it's all good and you've got the following birthday / Valentine's Day covered. And you've now got a reliable data point on the occasion.
But right now, you're heading into uncharted territory. If it is a test, it would be foolish to be unprepared. There are no downsides to back up gift planning.
It's not due to rain tomorrow, but I've still got an umbrella in the boot of the car.
Please. Buy the back up gift.

Mrs BB is really into cooking from scratch so she asked for one of the Kitchen Aid stand mixers (like they have on Bake Off etc): Crazy money in the shops but decent online deals, probably get her a spa voucher with the savings as a present from the wee ‘uns.
Kitchen aid mixers are half price at Currys right now - £279Plate spinner said:
