Not quite true since birthdays don't have a perfectly uniform distribution through the year.
30th September is the most common birthday

Least common birthday is 25th December (apart from 29th Feb which of course only occurs once every four years)

Bizarre, Presumably babies born very early or late that day are recorded as being born on the 24th or 26th to give them a birthday separate from Christmas.

Or something very odd happens at the end of March, people giving up sex for lent perhaps?

I suspect it's because no elective cesarean sections are scheduled for that day. Nor are any women brought in to be induced on Xmas day. Due to less staff on duty.

I worked in a small office many years ago with 6 other people. No one shared a birthday, but we were all left handed!
I once worked in an office with 6 people, and I was the only one who wasn’t left handed.

I thought they were all very sinister.
I too work in an office with six people, five of whom are lefties.

I bet this is the answer.

Pregnant ladies might also be able to some degree to subconsciously avoid the 25th?

People who plan their children tend to aim for a birth in the summer months as well. For many, 25th of December will still be in the first trimester.

Some aim for the autumn, so that the kids are the oldest in the class. This reaps some self-confidence and achievement benefits (apparently).

That's only true in countries which widely celebrate Christmas.

It was one of the biggest (only) breaks our adopted daughter had in her young life - as a 6th Sept birthday she got to have an extra year before she went to school, which was priceless in terms of her development.
