Help for Heroes.

Not everyone injured in Iraq or Afghanistan did something heroic.

Office, she was in office. Politicians do not have "power".

All the TV ads featuring interacial families are not representative of UK population.

The imagery is meant as instructions, not commentary.

Things like statistics being more important than emotional impact, ie: suicide/mental health being more important than terror attacks in terms of actual damage to society etc. I usually come out with it when Bomb "them" all sentiments are raised.

I'm pretty centrist in most of my opinions which annoys both my left and right wing friends, and I don't like tribalism. So I can go from slagging off the Tories/brexiteers to doing the same for the LibDems and Labour/remainers.

I have few friends in arguments. hehe

Johanna Konta is not Britain's No 1 female tennis player because she is not British. She's Australian.

Forgot another one- most of your sporting heroes who need an inhaler for their asthma do not have asthma, they'd just be fools to say no to available drugs.

Agree whole heartedly, plus with another previous poster about football being crap ... and this may explain why I need the bold bit explaining ... surely the premiership is the “top league”?!?
It’s called the Premier League, not the Premiership. The Premiership is a rugby league I believe!

There's nothing wrong with political correctness, most of the time it just means being polite.

On a motoring forum, it's pathetic that so many people can't spell licence.

The biggest threat to the world today is quite simply people believing st that isn't true. I include belief in god within that.

Margaret Thatcher is largely to blame to the "something for nothing" culture. She started it by flogging off council houses to the feckless for buttons, so they became instantly richer than responsible hard working people who didn't have kids they couldn't afford.

The NHS cannot survive as it is. It has to move from being demand led to being supply led. They need to decide what it will do, and then do it well. This means a lot of stuff it won't be able to do, and therefore some people will die without getting treatment.

Goal line technology in football is rubbish. Occasional awful decisions are a good thing.

There are two kinds of psychic, deluded idiots and fking crooks. Neither should be walking around free.

There is no war on the motorist. People who get banned under totting up following 4 speeding offences in 3 years are not unlucky, or victims, or hard done by. They are morons who deserve to be banned.

I think that a lot of footballers are on drugs, but it's too big a cash cow for the media/press to do the digging they do with other sports.

La La land was a total waste of the hour we spent on it before turning off.

Britain is no better than any other nation and its people no more valuable or important.

Guess that will do for now.
