I’m going to be buying a 2015-16 3 series tourer 320d M sport over the coming months. I really love them in white. However I don’t think I’m bold enough to go for it as they look really bling. Should I stick to a more dull colour?

Go for it. We had a 2016 320i Sport Tourer in white, mineral white I think. For the exterior we opted for black mirrors, sun protection and nicer wheels. Looked good I thought.

Neighbor has 4 daughters , all in 30s.
All have hair extensions , false nails, fake tans , surgically attached stilettos, designer clothes and drop in bling and they all drive white cars , BMW , AUDI , Mercedes.

I call them the Cartrashians. wink

Yeah go for a white car : D

PS White M3s are okay though !

I personally think the F30/31 looks pretty good in white. It works on some cars, but not others, the F generation 3-series falling to the former. Actually most recent BMWs work well in Alpine in my opinion.

Coral really lifts the interior. I went white/coral for my F20.

White F31s look a little like an ex police car with no stripes and big wheels. It also makes the XL panel gaps look even bigger.

But what’s it got to with me? Buy your car in whatever colour you like!

I thought mineral white was the best out of a bad bunch. Mineral grey would have been my first choice but it was for the wife and she'd already had that on several other BMWs including her previous 3 series. I did give her the raised eyebrow when she spec'd white to the sales guy. I actually quite liked it though on handover

I've had a white 330D F31 since last summer. Looks awesome when it's clean but be prepared to get it washed every couple of weeks if you wanna keep it that way... The boot and boot lid get absolutely filthy! Don't regret it really but would consider a darker colour if buying another one. Dark blue / dark grey metallic would be my options.

Oh and don't forget to look for black finish on the grill and wing mirrors - makes it look a bit different and slightly less bling!
Here's an example on a blue car: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

My F31 is Alpine white, i prefer this to mineral white as it is a bit creamier/warmer. i think it looks great, especially with the coral red leather and M Performance parts (mine has had the black grills fitted since this photo)... if you like it go for it!

This is my AW 330d. I've seen loads about in other colours, but for me AW really compliments the touring nicely. This is specced with the 19" alloys. Would have preferred the 18" for a less harsh ride but you can't have everything I guess. My only gripe are leaking rear light lenses which is a common fault on pre-LCI models so look out for that on any potential purchase.
