OP - You sound like my ex husband!! He always used to tell me if I got fat he would leave me (I was assuming he was joking at the time!)

Irony is he had an affair with a fatty and actually left me for her, go figure!

Just to add I never got fat!!
Be careful, this is PH - someone will want photos !

Its in a mans genes to have a primal urge to spread his seed among many women, sounds funny but it is true, its how the human race has survived and become overpopulated. Even though she was fat, he was just fulfilling his primal urges. Plus he got bored of you.

My missus knows that fatties are just better. If I've had strong drink she won't let me near them, due to their gravitational pull.

You see, that's exactly the problem. People who think "live and let live" are exactly the reason why the NHS spends 10% of the annual budget on diabetes. Almost ALL of which is Type2 which is almost entirely treatable through lifestyle changes. I didn't mention my "ocular delight". People just need to wake up and take some responsibility for themselves.
Do you smoke? Drink? Drive a car or motorbike in a spirited fashion? Play sports that could result in injury? If so, you selfish fk, you are potentially also a burden on the NHS....

Yeah, not entirely sure it was true of him though to be honest, his urges in the bedroom department were not that of a normal man (in that he never seemed to want it at all)

It's quite shocking how poor the average person's health is (reformed fat bugger here too BMI from 31 to 21...). According to a survey in 2016 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11534042 - the average bloke is 5'9" and 13.16 stone whilst the average woman is 5'3" and 11 stone.

Pretty scary when you put that into a BMI calculator and the average bloke is in the middle of the overweight category (27.2) and women not far behind (26.8).

WTF, are you ok?

Think you need to move house. Lots of areas of the UK where your description doesn't apply, shop at Sainsbury's/m&s/Waitrose rather than Tesco for example. Same with Google out, go to more expensive places.

Unfortunately, it is about 'where' you go rather than everywhere and will mean it will hit the pocket.

Your post was about extreme, are you sure you are ok?
We shop at Waitrose, because its the closest.

Sorry, my "Extreme" post upset you.... fatty.

...I recently had to go to a children's adventure park style venue during the week. I would estimate around 75% were obese, nearly all women. Nearly all with equally fat children.
I partly agree with this, although it is not only the women.

Many of our friends are fairly active, healthy types, but if we go to places such as those mentioned above, I do notice that we are often surrounded by obesity.

We went to an indoor water park last year in Britain. The customers were families, parents in were in their late 20s- early 40s. The parents who were not fat were few and far between. amongst men of my age (40) a prominent gut was the norm, even if the rest of the body wasn't that large. Younger men weren't much better. The men that weren't fat didn't often look very fit, there were a small number of body builder types.

Ps. Maori warrior-esque tattoos don't look great on pale men with big guts and weak looking arms and legs either.

Agreed, it is also blokes. My example was a family farm park thing, on a weekday so predominantly mums.

BBC news, most read today is about being a fatty.
Comes with a handy-dandy BMI checker tool. I am just at the top end of healthy. Scored a 24.somthing.

I guess I kind of agree with it, My issue is it not active enough.

BBC News -
"The majority of adults in the UK are overweight or obese according to national health surveys, yet research suggests we are a country in denial about our weight."

I don't buy this BMI stuff. I am 5'10 and about 14 stone. I don't look fat in the slightest. Yeah I'm not ripped by any stretch of the imagination either but nobody thinks I am fat.

Most blokes I know are around similar.

According to the BMI I'd have to be about 11 stone to be ideal. Last time I was that someone said I liked like a cancer victim.

Sod that, if I'm considered fat then so be it biggrin

Which means he was just flat out bored of you and wanted something new. Pizza is great but you'd get sick of it if its all you had for dinner for several months/years

Sadly, I think it’s the norm in the UK now. I am absolutely appalled at the “normal” body in the UK now whenever I visit. Most people are hideously overweight, and hideously unfit.
Nevermind overweight from just food - I took the train to London and back this weekend and I was amazed how many females were drinking on the train. It was in the morning and afternoon on the way back.

Rewind to when I was younger and it was the preserve of someone who had to have a drink and was trying to hide it or the football supporter crowd.

At your height and weight your BMI falls within the normal range.

Who is considering you as fat?

Could have worded it better but the way she should see it is, if he's bored of me he's not right for me and i'll find someone who is.

BMI of 28.12 which is overweight.

Assuming someone isn't carrying a lot of muscle this means that you're at a greater risk of health complications with a BMI outside of the recommended range than you would be within it.

https://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/3215.aspx?CategoryID=... is the NHS stance on it

This is also why you are given the distorted impression that lardarses don’t exist in other countries as when you travel you tend to stay in locations that are economically superior to your home situation.

If you live on a highstreet that is mostly southern fried chicken, Ladbrokes and discount off licenses then you will be swamped by bohemoths migrating from one feeding hole to the next. If you live on a highstreet which mostly sells sushi and guavas then there will be far fewer of them and those that do manage to waddle in tend to either be tourists or dressed up like a bee keeper at a funeral.

Alot of clothes sizes are out of whack. For instance I wear 34waist but I'm bloody not a 34. Road cycling brands are cruely spot on. High Street fodder is way off. Your waist might look ok to you- mine does but I know it's big for my height etc. I'm also a bmi of 28.

fk OFF!! Cheeky . If I could catch you I'd sit on you until you suffocated. My type 2 is fairly atypical. My podiatrist commented the first time I visited that when she read 40 year old male with type 2 she expected me to be enormous. (rather than my svelte self) I also get called "best feet I'll see all week" which is strangely flattering.
He did say almost all of it is caused by weight, you are obviously in the minority!
I didn't mean to offend anyone. I am well aware that it is not only obese people with type 2, hence my assertion that almost all cases are curable. Hope you are OK.

Good job I don't live in the UK, and have private health insurance then, isn't it? Haven't used any state healthcare services since I was a child.
