Wossamatter Mosquiteur? Not trivial enough for ya?

Here you go:

It is sunny here and I had weetabix for breakfast. It may rain later.

Is that OK?
No, I meant the whole thread entering a new phase.

This is Phase 6 I believe.

Are you still in Phase 1A along with that Chunky bloke? There's Phase 3 but its got some nasty earthing problems so I wouldn't touch it with yours.

The mods pincer movement was the end of English Tony as I recall and nearly the end of me, and it was only tunnelling out to TT that saved the day.
GB lives on though
Yes, a sad day all round what with English going down too

I recall the discussion concerning the Ruskies' Tramp Stamps was his swansong

Poor bugger.

I have indeed got more bites on my arm, I'm starting to feel like a mobile blood bank!!!
Has the South Coast become some sort of Primordial Swamp, ravaged by insects and with little sign of evolution?

Thought so
An improvement, then?

Also, more Leggy McLegster saga...

Balls.

Post op follow up today with the consultant. The good news is, I’ve got really strong bones, which apparently took quite a bit of breaking (with an actual hammer and chisel, albeit some spanky surgical ones).

The bad news is that one of the new pins in my leg has got bent, probably while they were hammering away at my bones. Instead of my hip bit and “floaty bit” being aligned, there is a misalignment of just under 30°.

The good news from that bit is that is why I am still in a lot of pain, because of the misalignment. The other good news is that it’s a five minute fix, the only downside being that I’ll have to have it under general anaesthetic next week. They’ll whizz out the bent pin, “realign” the bone ends (imagine pushing down on the spine of a book that is face down...) then whack in a new, straight pin.

All it means is I should have started with the lengthening process today, now it’ll be another ten days after Tuesday. The consultant was very apologetic but I was just relieved that it’s not going to be this painful for the next three months. I’ve got some updated pain relief meds for over the weekend, and if anything, I’m more confident the consultant will sort me out.

It’s one of those things, a minor fixable setback and I know next week my pain will be massively reduced, so I’m feeling a lot better than I was at 6am this morning.

OI!!!! nono
Yeah, alright it's an improvement!!!
Glad to hear there's a solution to your on going Leggy McLegster pain, mind you I reckon a bottle of Absinthe, a pair of mole grips, a protractor, some stainless bar and a big hammer and we could have done the replacement pin op, but hey, if you really must go down the whole, over rated hospital thing..............

I was bitten by a mosquito. I keep scratching the bite. Now it's bleeding. And it hurts. Great.

You bang them together (along the “long” edge) to make a noise. Er... that’s it.

Yes,I saw a few people doing that but it didn't really catch on.
It's not even possible to deflate them, short of a knife,as you inflate them with a short straw supplied with them and they just stay inflated.
Let's see for how long.

I wasn't going to post today.
That went well.

Ah, here you are.

I've just had to swim across the canal, and that water is a bit... err... murky, to say the least. Bleuurchh! yuck

Anyway, I made it. Excuse me whilst I towel myself down. No peeking, I don't want anyone getting jealous! nono
Why didnt you just walk across instead of breaking the crust and swimming?
And I reckon you will need more than a towel to get that off, I reckon something more like a pressure washer

You freeze them and then hammer them into the lawn of somebody you are not particularly fond of. Apparently. rolleyes

Yep, I know I shouldn't have broken the crust, but I'm getting a bit large these days even for the surface tension of that canal.
TBH, I'm lucky I haven't yet broken through the Earth's crust.

Is the jet washer handy, Bomma?

I know you can still get Brillo pads, but can you still get Vim/Ajax scouring powder in those paper canisters?
