Tour nearly complete, finishing shortly near Stortford with a meeting to get my website sorted.
The finest BMW has to offer was todays Chariot Of Choice Bobbers. I still need a day or two on Blackpool’s Own before I dare to venture beyond ‘trailering back distance’

Good afternoon Trivialites, I was going to post a lengthy piece about using the correct English language for the situations already posted by JimAK, SWTH, glenrobbo, Pushfit and Dicky, but after spending the day trying to keep my positivity up, I can't be arsed!!!!
Is there no way you can hide Mrs JimAK's present in the boot of the Range Rover?
I bet you can't wait to actually get out in the Vixen Pushfit!!!

In a word.........No!

It’s a distant & young relative of Fabio, Peri’s faithful retainer.

Close Dicky but no cigar!

Nice to know someone reads & remembers what I posted many moons ago.

I would have got one, wasn’t much dearer than what I got, but sadly it’s just not practical for us.

Afternoon folks.

I didn’t see any bumblebees last year but I did see this:

Not a view you wanted to be having in 1943!
That's perfect for the 20mph limit in Richmond and Croydon.tank

I lent my father a black overcoat for a funeral today, he looked like a disgraced barrister getting out of the Jag.

It was quite a good look for him, I hope I can pull it off in twenty years time.

Yes, at last year’s TankFest. Quite a sight, 5 variants/derivatives of Tiger in one room, including Tiger I, Tiger II pre-production, Tiger II production, JagdTiger and Elefant. There was a JagdPanther parked outside too.

Really the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger can be considered the forefather of all modern battle tanks, it was the first successful heavyweight tank to be built in large numbers. It certainly had its deficiencies and weaknesses but overall it was a very successful machine.

Went for an Abarth 595 Peri, 124 sadly too impractical.

Did have to give myself a damn good talking to despite the obvious shortcomings mind.

She’s had a bit of a stty time this last couple of years with her Dad dying last Xmas & the preceding hospital & nursing home drama.

Anywho, It’s not every year she has a land mark Birthday so I thought WTF lets do it........

So I did!

Cracking little car too. Very glad she hates the Mini, this thing is miles ahead of that bloated PoS.

Absolutely fantastic little car, I take it you've driven it? What year and mileage? Wanted one ever since I saw one being driven enthusiastically around Southampton!!!

Tanks are called tanks because when they were being developed they were explained away as being mobile water tanks for Mesopotamia.

This is from memory. I should have check it for accuracy but haven't yet.

If he’d liked it I’d have bought something else.

Blokes aTard!

I’ve given it a couple of runs Bobbers, one of them was sort of in anger..... see previous post re Wednesday, delivery, interloper in garage etc!

Like I say BiL thinks I only bought it because I wanted it, a discrete veil has been drawn over that comment too.

It’s a Jan 17 car. 1 owner, 15k on clock, they did the 2nd year service in the deal, tracking & 2 new front tyres.

She was considering a change next year anyway, probably some boring white good hatchback thing, so I’ve saved her from herself really....... again!!

I was wondering why FIAT introduced the Rivale when the Riva as mentioned above already exists.

I think the Rivale is Abarth only ......confused

The woody interior bits to ape the boats are well nice.

Be honest it put a huge smile on your face!!! Is it a 140, 160 or the full fat 180bhp version? I hear that the Monza or Akrapovic exhaust is a very fruity upgrade!!! hehe
