That's a very impressive work with the door plaque glenrobbo, just a pity that there's no door to stick it on!!
Battert to the rescue. Thanks to its generous proportions, he's turned it on its side and put it in the doorway. While he strengthens the door frame and tracks down some sturdy hinges I'll be using the window to access my office.

Wasn't that how you had to access it before after Pushfit rescued me from the understairs cupboard with a small explosive device???

That was me Bobbers, took half the bloody roof off we did. I still get emails from the Treasurer about it.

The lunch was lovely by the way, I'll update things later if I manage not to fall in the swimming pool.

As I recall you didn’t want to be rescued at the time as you had just found Batterts stash of H&E magazines

Bomma's always been keen on the HE stuff. smile

Just got back from the Old Fart's Annual Christmas Outing.

Oh what fun we had. smile

Traditional Sunday Carvery carried over to Tuesday followed by bottomless ice cream Sundae ( or should it be Wednesdae? )
I would be suffering from brain freeze if I had one.

This evening it's the TVR Regional Christmas "do", with a Secret Santa gift exchange and a talk and demonstration by two drag racing exponents:

I'm only going because there will be mince pies and coffee for all attending.

I've never been drag racing.

We're going to a carol service tonight in a local church, really rather looking forward to it!!!

So instead of singing the vicar just holds up a pair of knickers.
You say I thought we were singing?
And the vicar says......

The races can get a bit sameish but there are interesting things going on. As kids we watched drag racing at Blackbushe Airport. A square back Stingray overshot the line and had to reverse. The lights went green, the other car shot off and the Stingray reversed at high speed. After some frantic driver activity the car set off in the right direction... and won.

It turns out I'm not a fan of Back To The Future after all.

I didn't swoon.

I mean, that is a proper scientific test. Isn't it?

Would you opt instead for the rumoured Death Star Runaround?

Much of the work has already been done.

Now that would be cool turned into a death star wouldn't it? That's been around for a long time I believe.

Not a good place to be under heavy braking apparently.
