I know it is a bit of a long shot, but I'm trying to find an old friend from donkeys years ago.

I have tried to find him and failed with 192.com, facebook, linkedin etc .

As he was a bit of a car nut so I thought I would try here.

His name is Neil Chambers.
If anyone knows of him or someone who has his details - could they drop me a line.

Thank you
T

Neil Chambers?

He was here just a few hours ago, effecting a daring rescue of a badly injured man trapped upside down hanging from a weathercock at the very top of a church steeple.

I have never seen such an amazing feat of bravery. The injured person was handed over to a team of paramedics who said that if Neil Chambers hadn't got him down when he did, he would almost certainly have succumbed to the effects of exposure. Why he had been exposing himself up there is not certain, but he was mumbling something about "scaring the moles".

Amidst all the post-rescue hullabaloo, Neil Chambers just seemed to melt away.

What a guy!

He's such an enigma! And a Hero. With a capital 'H'. bow

Thought I saw him earlier but it turned out to be Ned Ryerson.

You remember Ned don't you?
Needlenose Ned, Ned the Head, Case Western High alumnus who did the whistling belly-button trick at the talent show? Got the shingles real bad senior year, almost didn't graduate? Bing! That’s him.

Ned Ryerson? I was told that he had been interred at an RSPCA internment camp near Woking after he was convicted of interfering with red squirrels, voles and pygmy marmosets.
A disappointing and rather sordid affair of disgusting behaviour and cruel treatment of poor helpless creaturns no bigger than your fist.

I know we all have our vices, but honestly, this showed the sorry dark and evil side to a person who had been considered a pillar of society and had been, up until these revelations, respected by all who met him.

Just goes to show.

So it probably was Neil Chambers that you saw.

The last confirmed sighting was at Le Mans, but there's a rumour going around he hitched a lift back to the UK on the underside of a Nissan Navara...

Well, one fella came close [to catching General Sherman]. Went by the name of Neil Chambers. Seven feet tall he was, with arms like tree trunks. His eyes were like steel, cold, hard. Had a shock of hair, red like the fires of Hell ...

Trace a friend? Dead easy. Just lie him down, sheet of paper and rub the crayon sideways.

Sure he's sat next to me - I've shown him this and his exact words were: "I've told him a thousand times, my name is 'Nell' now and that part of my life is now over".
