Hi all,

I'm looking for some nice roads in Oxfordshire (and neighbouring counties) for spirited drives! I usually use the B4000 from Ashbury to Lambourn, or the Hanney Road from Southmoor to Steventon, but I'd like some more!

Additionally, I'm on the lookout for somewhere nice to park up and take some decent photos of my car. I usually end up in gravel laybys or next to small streams but I'd like some decent locations if possible please!

Here's a picture of the motor as thanks - looking forward to seeing what's around locally!

B4494 from Wantage to Newbury is a good road.
B4494 from Watanage then onto Copperage Rd leading to Aldworth is also fun, little narrower though.
Can't recommend places to stop for photos, but lots of nice gravel laybyes as you've got. You can get some nice ones over Oxforshire from the top of the RIdgeway from B4494.

Best time is a Friday when the house and woodland is closed.

Assuming this is accessible, as near to the canal as you can get.
Picking a suitable time might be tricky though.

Thank you both! I'll be having a look around some of that tonight smile

If anyone else has any suggestions, keep them coming!
