Hi all. I’m currently away from home and the key fob / immobiliser button on the Sagaris is playing up.

Is it simply a case of changing the battery and everything still works......or is it more complicated than that?

If it’s a simple battery replacement can anyone tell me the type of battery I will need?

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have had a read through but there’s no mention of the whether or not you have to reprogram the key if you are simply changing the battery. I have spoken to a high street key place and he says the only time he has had problems was with a Porsche. However as the car is my wedding car on Saturday it’s s bit of a gamble!

Anyone else help?

Simple battery swap doesn't need any re-programming. While you have the fob open check the nipple on the button, they often loose their tip meaning the fob button cover no longer works. Mine just suffered that fate (last/only working fob-a job I've meant to sort for eons) which meant a reprogramming of the alarm for two new fobs (I also didn't have keycode card lost by previous owner(s), just how do people loose those for a TVR?!) . All done in a very quick turnaround by HF Solutions.

You do not need to reprogram the key when changing the battery. I've done it lots of times over the years without any problems. Hope the wedding goes well!
