The reporter has a good style.

Not surprised at the drug/phone/weapon market inside.

Shocking what one can secrete about their person. I agree that reporter had a good style. Looks like it could be an interesting series.

One thought - is it possible and do prisons make any attempt to inhibit mobile phone signals in the cells (which is presumably where they are most commonly used)?

Secreted within the body - sorry, should have been more discriptive.

nah, yer ok, keep it nice and vague....

watching it now....is it wrong to think that they shouldn't bother reviving spicers? And that most if not all of them should be out down?

Seeing as most of the mental health institutes have now closed, the police and prison service now has the misfortune of having to caring for the would-be patients.

Prison really seem like a bit of a lost cause where the staff are barely managing and just making the best of what they have while many of the inmates see it as a big joke. One thing I have noticed from watching a load of prison documentaries like this is that you get a lot of these guys who have probably dropped out of school, hang around on the streets committing petty crime having never had a proper job or any real world experience, they are now adults but quite clearly still have a schoolboy way of thinking.

The guy in the first episode was like a crackhead Conor McGregor.

A very depressing episode - had me having flashbacks to Midnight Express.

Very sad with the chap taking his own life. frown

Mummy's boy appeared to have a very low IQ - lots of underlying issues there

The self harming guy was just the world's most selfish tt - total nightmare for everyone

The one who died appeared genuinely a good guy (I know - clearly he's in prison) and was really polite and without his demons would have been someone you could see actually contributing to society.

Just watched this on catch up, truly shocking.

At times James appeared so normal but was clearly suffering, every sympathy to his family.
