Skylum Luminar 2018, is it worth it over PS, LR etc?

Hi Guys,

Serious question as this is on offer at £44 for the next few days, how does it compare with Photoshop or LR as it seems to be very good value for money (well for the next few days at least).
Anyone use it?

I believe you can try it for 30 days so you have a chance to give it a quick once over?

I looked at it along with others when Adobe made LR subscription only.

I decided upon ON1 Photo raw 2018 as it it had the features that suited me most, being able to do everything LR does plus a bit of what PS does (layers etc).

It is personal choice at the end of the day but my advice is think beyond price into value.

I decided to go for it, for the price and what it gives me its more than suitable, it can do layers but cannot do stacking (Photoshop only)? and it seems a little more user friendly than LR.
Its originally a Mac software provider and I think they have gotten over the bugs it had originally, cant really fault it at the moment for the price though
