With some seething about the concept of a bucket list, how about having the opposite?

Ie things you'll actively avoid ecause..

They're too costly.

Too painful.

Been there, done it.

Can't be arsed.

You don't want to.

Such as mine...

Get married (again).

Get another pet.

Go to Spain or NZ.

Register for Vat (again).

Open a shop (again).

Work in a public facing job again.

Parachute jumping

Run for a bus.

Get married (never - what a waste of money)
Have kids (Happy with a quiet life, A nagging partner is hard enough)
Get another dog (A PITA most of the time)

Owning a boat, any size. You'll never use it enough to justify the money. Rent instead.

Large property, ditto. I wanted a small country house in Wiltshire once. Now, I just think of the upkeep costs and laugh.

Riding motorbikes anywhere there's traffic. I have a fked ankle, and have never been able to run around with my daughter.

Buying a new car. Who on earth willingly accepts a 10% hit to their capital the moment they take possession? It's mad.

Ever be responsible for a large team of people again. Even the best manager [not me ;-)] will have their head done in with the problems & issues of 17 staff as they wrestle with what life throws at them.

Really. I dislike travel , and hate holidays

Dunno why! Just really can't be arsed with it all, and can't wait to get back home

I have to go on a couple a year, but have managed to stay in UK for the last 7 years , I'm up and packed by 8am on checkout day.
