Owning a boat, any size. You'll never use it enough to justify the money. Rent instead.

Agree with a lot of the replies on here; they all resonate.

For me:-

Have any more children
Don a wet suit
Ditto full leathers
Fly offshore
In fact, work...
Or have anyone work for me...
...and by extension, trust anyone.

Go coasteering

Sea levels weren't as high as they could have been and our instructor was a bit of a tt. Leapt into the sea on his advice and on one occasion brushed against a big rock that would probably have shattered my leg\ankle.

Then having to run back through a field with horse flies in it and I also found I had very painfully sprained my trapezius a day or so later.

Never again.

not very exciting - she is just totally un-hinged - really - it defies description. Think Ebola or plague, no good bits there at all. So after 10 years or so trying to accommodate her (her ex husband I think came to a similar finding), putting up with her causing one feud after another, assorted tantrums and nonsense, I've had enough. So explained to mrs-frozen, if frozen-in-law turns up at our house, I'll buy her a bus ticket to to a destination of her choice, but that's all I'll ever do for her. The end.

Life's too short for people like that, and she's exhausted her 'family credit' exemption well and truly. But actually things are much better now that she understands that - she's inflicting herself on others instead now which is fine by me :-)
