As above In the title and are there any leaks on if a second batch is happening?

I would guess just over 100 UK cars delivered in the first batch.

I have a first batch car but have second batch WP car coming. My dealer seems certain of a second run and has put their top customers (not me BTW) in second batch as they all wanted WP. I have no knowledge other than this but surely given what has happened so far a second batch is a certainty?

My guess is there are more than 60 in the first batch. I’d guess it’s more like double that.

I was told this yesterday by my suppling Dealer, he check to see he said how many were delivered, I did think it may of been more, however, I have no reason to disbelieve him. Also said second batch looking doubtful due to the particular filter

60 would mean majority of dealers got 2 cars and some got 1. My medium size OPC got 3 first batch and another I know got 4 so I reckon it has to be over 100.

If there was any doubt about second run my OPC would have given their 3 cars to other customers for sure. Plus I want a WP car smile

Would be a great shame if no second batch - bloody particulate filters! There will be toys exiting prams if we have seen the end. All we can do is hope the magicians at Porsche car sort the emissions and give us some more cars.

Personally I think they'll wangle an exemption on this filter issue due to it being a model that existed and was registered before the regulation came into force, different story for the new GT4 and Spyder.
I imagine we'll find out for sure within the next couple of months.

Can always look up the DVLA registrations but there were 5 at my OPC . I got the only early Lightweight version ... by deleting the roll cage .
Hope they make a lot more as seems a nice car ( only done 2,500 miles so far ) , would ideal for anyone who wants , to get one .

I know some customers had the choice to go batch one or for the potential second batch with WP, some went batch one to make certain of getting a car! I did hear someone say WP pack had been dropped due to supplier issues ?

Wheels are off the shelf bbs items, so not an issue, I think the TI cage people went bust also it’s not tuv approved ! So better off with a non WP car and buy a set of bbs wheels imo.
You then can have some road tyres to the standard wheels for wet use.

Titanium cage not tuv approved? You better tell Porsche that as they are selling german cars with the weissach cage..... Fia homologation or lack of in the case of the titanium roll cage isn't anything like the same or have anything to do with being tuv approved.

I reckon 100-120 cars in the first batch. Interesting that Porsche has updated the configurator to include things like a luggage set for £5k (!) but there’s no sign of the WP on there.

There was a thread on rennlist a while back saying a few dealers in the USA were saying that it was all over for the WP for any remaining 3RS orders, but who knows. Seems a few over there have it on order but anyone with a recent order couldn’t get it.

Anyhow, it’s the most over priced fashion accessory ever on the 3RS and as someone mentioned above, just get an extra set of mag wheels. I’m guessing everyone has also noticed it’s all over as far as the super frothy market values go, so I don’t see WP as being an investment particularly. If you want the WP, you need to be ready for a £10k bill if you damage an alloy. More of a liability on th 3RS, I’d say.... it also looks minging on lighter colours imho.

Don’t see why a second batch wouldn’t come to the U.K., but WP may not be an option? I know they said it would be available with the second batch but that was back in Feb this year and things change.....

O yes not fia approved, knew is was not approved for some thing, but stands the same , one cannot race with it, so it’s a bit daft. A race car you cannot race ?

About 100 to 120 were delivered in the first batch..Some sales people quote less numbers to the ones who received one in the first batch to inflate their egos..
I'm in the running to get one of the first ones in the second batch as i wanted the WP..I don't think anybody in any OPC knows on whether or not any more will be delivered..This is due to the unsolved problems caused by the DPF on NASP cars which might not be surmountable..
Anybody who claims anything different is merely acting on rumour and gossip..

128 in the 1st batch - figure came from a PRG Sales Manager and they are best connected as they work for Porsche.

With 992 starting production very soon I don’t see how they can make any more 991s at all. I’d be surprised if the production line could make two models at once.

They will continue to make 991s and 992s at the same time at least until 2019 second quarter..Mostly the Speedster and RSs..
