I couldn't find a thread on here for quotes, the possibilities are endless.
Here's my starter, not seen it before:

Hockey is a sport for white men.
Basketball is a sport for black men.
Golf is a sport for white men dressed like black pimps. - Tiger Woods

Gay Byrne:
“Suppose it's all true and you walk up to the pearly gates and you are confronted by God. What would Stephen Fry say to him, her or it?”

Stephen Fry:
“I will basically, I'll say, "Bone cancer in children? What's that about? How dare you! How dare you create a world where there is such misery that is not our fault! It's not right. It is utterly, utterly evil. Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid god who creates a world that is so full of injustice and pain. That's what I'd say.”

Probably not in the spirit, but these are two of my favourites.

Ruslan Boshirov said:
It's known for its 123m-tall spire. It's known for its clock, the first clock to ever be invented in the world, which is still working.
Dubya said:
Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.

One of those typical quotes than sounds all clever, but the reality in sport is that shooting is not always the best option. A pass to a team mate in a better position to score is likely to be the better choice.

Hollywood wit Dorothy Parker was staying in Hearst Castle, the home of WR Hearst ('Citizen Kane') and 'actress' Marion Davies.

Parker was asked to leave, for 'indiscreet behaviour' (i.e. bonking), which was frowned upon.

In the guest book, she wrote...

'Upon my honour, I saw a madonna,
standing in a niche.
Above the door of a well known we
and a first class son of a bh.'

Beat that!
