Schoffel have some very nice stuff. Well made and a balance against being "too Barbour" wink

If you like a country look and don’t want the waxed look, Dubarry have a nice range: https://www.dubarryboots.com/ballyfin-men-s-tweed-...
Yes, I've looked at them. A bit country for my taste.

They've some nice looking stuff, albeit the top two jackets have sold out in all but fat or thin sizes.

I need to buy a new waterproof jacket/coat for dog walking. I thought a ski jacket might be suitable as they are warm and have pockets that zip up...essential for inquisitive hounds noses. Although I'd prefer the country look, I think Barbour jackets have buttons on their pockets instead.

They work on limited run manufacturing in Manchester, so it is best to register and look at their Being Made page;

Why is it a pre-order?

Why isn't it just an order?

Mr Grumpy.

They do both, so they will make, say, 50 of which 40 are pre-ordered, but you have a higher chance of missing out if you don't pre-order.

I guess it is so they don't have stock hanging around and so manage their cashflow better. Same as Swoon or Made.com in furniture, really.

I quite like the look of this Musto:

https://www.musto.com/en_GB/corsica-br1-long-jacke...

Musto seems to me to be a brand that isn't making a statement and the products I've seen tend to be well made. Tell me I am wrong someone.

Very plain. Quite the opposite to Gamefaces jacket that you'd see in a Guy Ritchie film biggrin

Yeah mine's awesome. That Musto is something my grandfather might wear.
