Lovely! Really fancy one of these next, but first I would have to sell my Jag
The 5.5 Biturbo is a beast.
Yay, sell it to me! Actually being honest don't sell it, these Mercs are a bit of a one trick pony and the interiors are as dull as ditch water.... your Jag is a far nicer place to be.The 5.5 Biturbo is a beast.
Lovely car, on my current short list, such good value, 25k bags a good example, hard to find others to compete;
XFR
XJR
Both in same price bracket and equal on luxury and power but even cheaper.
2017 E400 coupe > better interior but 35k
2014 s500 coupe > pretty much better in all areas but power (mapped probably nothing in it) still 35k tho
Audi and bmw dont come close imo apart from maybe the M6GC which sits around the 25-30k mark.
CLS63, a good choice right now i reckon fella, well done, should firm up depreciation wise to.
If there happened to be a light exterior & interior one for sale right now then id be on it, i want adaptive cruise, dynamic seats, cooled seats, hk.
Interested to hear how the hk compares to the top meridien in the jag..

A very nice car. What more could you ask for? Perhaps being picky some attention to the paint finish, but aside from that: wonderful! I think this and the first CLS are great cars.
Cheers You should have seen it before I polished it! - I managed a decent discount as I bought it "sold as seen" fixed all other issues with it apart from the paint which I will keep working on

How does it compare to the 55 ?
^^^This. Also what do you think of the looks compared to the old one? I personally really like the second gen and don't think it is a bad looking car by any stretch but the old one was an almost perfect design which made it really hard to replace.

Superb.... I have to compliment you on your photos... what do you use to get that clarity and detail..
My Google Pixel 2 phone for the interior and close ups + most of the exterior shots. Canon SLR for the exterior zoomed in shots J4CKO said:
OOf, that was on my list for next car but then I decided I couldn't be arsed parking a honking great car so got an M135i being sensible, that is lovely though, and probably fairly brisk..
How does it compare to the 55 ?
I will be doing a full review on my Youtube channel soon, however 55 was more thuggish/rough power delivery where is this is a pure weapon as its 50bhp up on it How does it compare to the 55 ?

As the car is just under 7 years old and it only has 62k on the clock its still in great condition. there are a number of small tidy-ups which I have been doing just to bring it upto near perfection
The front numberplate plinth and wiper arm covers have started to grey ever so slightly. So with a can of Halfords Plastic Bumper Paint (Black) I have restored them back to new.

Also gave the back of the Differential cooler a quick spray to brighten it up:
