Just popped up in my news alert. Informed a colleague of mine [25], who replied, "Who?" rolleyes

Firestarter (and 'Fat of the Land') was released over 20 years ago. I am feeling very old all of a sudden ...
Well a 25 year old isn’t going to necessarily know the name of a 49 year old pop star who was at their peak, when they were not long out of nappy’s.

RIP.

No.

They'd probably recognise some of the music though.

But then, as much as I like music, I'd definitely struggle to name most band members from bands I like that much, or recognise them in the street, as I don't tend to watch music videos these days as much as I did back in my teenage years

RIP.
Well that's sh*t news. When I first read the news I thought, motorbike. But seems not. Guess he lived his life though and then some!

I knew a guy who used to work with Keith years back and only said at the weekend to my lads about going to see the Prodigy live (I’ve been a fair few times). Gutted. RIP

I worked with a girl who seemed to know absolutely and completely nothing of anything from before her birth (or olden times as she called it) and very little from after.

Its saddening when someone older dies but Keith Flint was only 49 and you would have thought still had a good few years as part of the Prodigy.

The Prodigy were a big influence on my music preferences, but I only had the opportunity to see them a few times. I'm actually quite gutted.

Gutted too. Loved The Prodigy from their early days right the way through. Was lucky enough to bump into him at the TT a couple of years ago.

We had a lad here who did not really know anything about 911 other than the very basic idea of what happened. No idea if 10 or 100.000 died, no idea who did it, no idea why, didn't even know which year it was. Shocking but a lot of youngsters live day to day and if something happened more than a week ago its erased from memory.

Keith should have married a Kardashian and his own You Tube Channel.

Millenials. The Facebook Generation more like.

Suicide just makes it all the more tragic. It really can happen to anyone and nobody should ever be ashamed of fearful about seeking help.
