I'm always surprised to see some of these old rockers make it to eighty years of age.
I saw Roy Harper play at the London Palladium this weekend, but he's only 77
I saw John Mayall last year. Looking good for 86.

Rather apt in these post-Brexit/Trump times.

Think you're confusing your Righteous Brothers with your Walker Brothers.

Sheet, I was in the store last week buying lots of stuff and taking some photos

Was a regular buyer of Chopper and other custom bike mags in the 70s and loved the Bay Area look. I’m in SF every year and always made a trip out to Dublin (CA) to the store, and I’m sure I’ve spotted him there. They had signed copies of an Arlen Ness book there last week - should have bought a copy frown

Just saw this. Was lucky to see the Best at the Square in Harlow (also no longer with us!) a few years ago. Such a great band.

R.I.P. Roger, the Beat & Selector gig in Manchester a couple of years ago was just brilliant, full of energy.

Only a couple of weeks ago I got the new album signed by him frown

In fact, DON'T rest in peace Roger, do what you have always done, light up the stage and blow the bloody roof off.

I've just found out that Bill Heine died last week, aged 74. Who is Bill Heine, you ask?

He commissioned this piece of artwork which gave Oxford councillors and other officialdom such furrowed brows. All hail the eccentrics:
