Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 31)

Climate Protesters? It's Easter Bank Holiday, the weather's bloody lovely, nice and sunny and warm.
What's not to like? I'll give you a hand to knock the moaning buggers out Peri.
Incidentally, there's a new starter at Carbon Fibre Cowboys this week, a young lady by the name of Amelia Peri.
She has a 'Mediterranean' look about her, I asked if she had any Italian in her. She said 'no, but I'm open to offers'.
You could be in there, old chap.

Anyone understand Cyrillic?
amongst my mum's stuff is a silver buckle with a word or words in Cyrillic. I can't make head nor tail of it. I found a Cyrillic alphabet to type it in and a Russian to English website that thought it might be two - still untranslatable - words. It might say By Heart or it might say Write. Both of which seem unlikely.
I'll take a picture and hope it's not vulgar.

I'm growing increasingly concerned by P5BNij's obvious Murican leanings, I can understand his desire for a Murican Muscle car but he's wearing a Varsity jacket and puffing away on the biggest stogie I've ever seen!!!!

Tis alright Bobbers, it's probably just another passing phase, one of several since saying farewell to my fortieth birthday in the rear view mirror, too many years ago. I'll be alright when I hit sixty, which isn't that far away in the grand scheme of wotsits… I'm growing increasingly concerned by P5BNij's obvious Murican leanings, I can understand his desire for a Murican Muscle car but he's wearing a Varsity jacket and puffing away on the biggest stogie I've ever seen!!!!

However, I am just returned from sunny Stoneleigh where some extremely large 'murcan behemoths branded 'Chrysler', 'Cheverolet', 'Dodge' and 'Buick' did their level best to tempt me into the highs and lows of rarefied land yatch ownership, luckily they're all far to behemothesque to squeeze into my very English double garage. But (here it comes!)…. having 'a bit of a chat' with the owners of a couple of Mustangs and a Mercury Cougar (which I had a model of as a kid and loved to bits) I know for definite that either of these will be a shoe in if I move all the shelves and cupboards to one side. The jolly nice owner of this '66 Fastback let me sit in it and try it on for size, it actually felt very compact and (surprisingly) quite a bit smaller than the P5B and XJ6 which previously occupied the garage....
Well, apparently Chevrolet are having second thoughts about the security vehicle loan, after they somehow discovered some of my previous... “work”.
I mean, to me, this looks pretty much ok to me. It’s a photo of a slightly creased “paper” photo, hence the slight “wobblyness”.
On second thoughts...
Ah...
Nope. That is NOT going to be T-Cutted out.

You sure? A bit of filler, quick dusting with a rattle can, a swift buff up with some Autoglym and Bob's your father's brother!!! I mean, to me, this looks pretty much ok to me. It’s a photo of a slightly creased “paper” photo, hence the slight “wobblyness”.

ION I went out today without my phone, hence the unscheduled radio silence!!
It would appear that I've missed quite a lot today, still I did discover purely by chance, another discreetly marketed money making scheme of Batterts, Trivialites i give you, Trivtons own wine!!!!

I tried a different translator .
It still can't fathom it.
Starts with....."Before being"......goes all silly......ends with....".doesn't care."
Where's Adenaurer the native English /German bloke?
Mrs Scrump says it is a German dialect and translates as something along the lines of "Before I freshen up, I don't care". I think this must mean "Stinky and carefree" which would be a great slogan for the forthcoming Trivstock Festival. It still can't fathom it.
