I'm fairly certain it was to do with washing money, not burning it!!!!!

(Mustangs came in six pot form but not Cougars, they were all V8s).
I didn't know that all Mercury Cougars had V8s.A mate of mine is a bit of an American car beard and might have known that, really wanted a 69 Charger a few years ago but I think a child birth
ended all of that palaver.
This restored example is a beauty... https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1003007
It's another one of those cars which goes right back to my childhood, I had one of these as a nipper...

If my garage was long enough I'd be all over this ''72 Charger like a rash...

Garage extension???
When ar were a lad, the father of a friend of mine retired from a job at Heathrow. He had commuted there from Sandhurst before the M3 was built on the A30 in a Triumph Herald. On retirement he built his wife a summer house, bought her a chest freezer and finally treated himself to a Triumph 2000 Automatic. He hadn't driven an automatic before. One of the first times he put the car away he got confused and unintentionally extended the garage. He drove the car through the back wall of the garage taking his wife's new freezer with him and on through the new summer house into the back garden. He wasn't very popular. Plus, he was extraordinarily pissed off with himself. For a long time. A very long time. He's dead now.Bobberoo99 said:
A very productive night working on my Lego camper, I shall post a pic of the progress tomorrow, now I'm off to bed night night chaps!!!
Have I posted any photos yet of my Lego stuff? I forget.Anyway, night all.
ps The leg scaffold has “single use only” carbon fibre. Then there’s the stainless steel pins (between 180-200mm long, 10 off), the “twirly stretching bits” (metal, two off), plastic blocks ( r off) and sundry fixing bolts etc (metal). I lost 35kgs in 12 weeks when I initially went into hospital - a combination of zero booze, much reduced food intake and my body using a ton of energy to fight infections/heal (I’ve never slept so much). I even had full fat milk and scrambled egg prescribed to me by the dietician! I’m still about 25kgs lighter, but feeding myself and access to booze again has caused that!
Anyway, night all, again.
Just the one wine glass Bobbers?
I like the Lego engine.
ION, my local classic car club planned an evening run out yesterday evening.
Hence the torrential rain and thunderstorm.
I decided not to bother. It wouldn't have been much fun going topless in that lot.
I hope it's a bit better for our TVR Drive-it Day 5 Counties Run on Sunday.
Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire and Lancashire, finishing in Ramsbottom, affectionately known as "Tup's Arse".
I can't think of a better waste of petrol.

Garage extension???
No room alas Bobbers, the garage is already as big as I could manage in the space available. The lane which gives access to it is quite tight too which doesn't help my yearning for something large, 'murcan and wafty. Annoying thing is my next door neighbour's garage is vast compared to mine, it's one of those metal industrial unit type thingummies, the lucky blighter. He's got two classics in there plus workshop space galore. A Mustang (even a Mach 1) or a Cougar will go in mine without any worries, probably a Pontiac Firebird too but anything wider will be a no no (unless I replace the two single doors with a wider single one thus removing the central pillar... I'm looking into this actually).Edited by P5BNij on Thursday 25th April 11:32

I'm going to make a fairly safe assumption that the 72 Charger P5 fancies are considerably cheaper than the earlier
Dukes of Hazzard shape.
I wouldn't get half that car in my garage, biggest car I've had in there was a SAAB 99 or my Escort Cos.
Spot on Peri, much cheaper but just as desirable, well to me anyway.Dukes of Hazzard shape.
