Don't pretend you don't know. What did you think the davits you are making were for, precisely? Hmmm?

Motorbike size davits for the back of Bomma's car? Yes, what could they be for?

I mean, come on.
Davits? Steady on, old boy. You'll set Pushfit on about his gantries again.

Where is the old devil by the way? I repaired the laminator for him a few weeks back, he still hasn't collected it.

It's beneath my bench in the hangar in case I'm away. Mind Penrose though, his partner's 'in season'. They do get quite excited, he'll have you if he thinks she's threatened.

Maybe not, but sweaty beavering most certainly is!

It's a glorious sunny morning here in God's waiting room Llandudno.
It will be such a shame to be checking out this morning, but hey, nothing lasts forever. wink

So it's back to the relentless hectic hurly-burly life of retirement for us after one more enormous breakfast.
It's been good to have a few days off, even if we did have to fight off all the old dears with a big stick. rolleyes

"We're sure our room is haunted. Would you come up and see what you think?" yikes

I’m just bobbing in to say hello. And Bomma, old chap, please don’t go out on the ‘blade in just jeans and t shirt, it really should be ATGATT (All the bear, all the time). Which, obviously, isn’t any help if you go by my “situation”. On 31 May, it’ll be two years since my “minor off”. That said, you can actually now buy fully protective jeans, which are as good as leathers. Some have “inner” trousers made of Kevlar/Aramid or similar, which can be a bit hot and sweaty, whereas some of the newer types actually have it woven in to th denim, so they look and feel like “normal” jeans, but are still very protective, just without being baking hot when the sun actually pokes out. There are lighter jackets and hoodies/sweatshirts made in a similar manner, but I don’t quite think they’ve quite managed a protective t shirt just yet...

Anyway, The Idiot. I know he has a couple of fans here.

I’ve just switched from Sure for men to Dove Sensitive Skin. The applicators are remarkably similar in size and colour. I had to laugh this morning when I picked up the Dove one by mistake.
Quite a remarkable coincidence of trivia, I bought one of each of those to try yesterday. Would be interested to hear your opinion.

I've finally had enough of accidentally deodorising and anit-perspirising my mouth and airways with the evil spray stuff. I know going about with one's mouth agape is not generally acceptable, but given I'm usually doing my ablutions very early in the morning, I feel that looking a bit gormless is perhaps understandable.

Please do report back with your findings.

Our phones are out of contract in August so I'm currently trying to decide what to replace them with, Huawei are looking favourite at the moment, but we'll see what sort of deals they have, Samsung as we have now are getting expensive!!
I have just jumped ship from Samsung, My contract was up so I have gone from an S7edge to a huawei p30pro. I like it lot, the camera is ridiculously good, it is fast and the battery life is amazing for a smart phone, will actually last for a full day of heavy use, or a couple of days if you are a lighter user. The fast charge thing is impressive too, under an hour to fully charge it.The reverse charging of another phone is impressive too, literally just put the 2 phones back to back and as long as the other phone can do wireless charging it will start to charge.
Only bad bit is that the interface is different, takes a while to get used to.

A couple of questions fatboy, do you eat breakfast? If so try having porridge, helped to lower mine along with as you say the change in spread, also exercise? I know you walk the hound but do you have a sedentary job? Apparently walking over 8000 steps a day will help!!

I am now Morgan Freeman. Sorry, that came out wrong, I'm now mortgage free! I can however quite categorically state that I have never ever appeared in any educational filum entitled 'The Sheepshank Redumption' (in a cinema near you this Friday).

In other news - I've run out of trivia, must nip to Fortnum & Masons and purchase some more.
