Wrong answers. Joking aside, most cereal is evil IMHO.

Well done for digging your way out.

The Escape comittee will require a full de-brief report by 0900hrs tomorrow.

Oh!!! Oh dear, that means well need to wake the Major up early, make sure Battert hasn't wandered off, recall SWTH from his assorted sortees, get Bomma on a conference call, make sure the Bell and Lepers function room is free and get Mrs Greenfield to organise some catering!!!! yikes

I think the function room was being used as some sort of impromptu disco, but if they restore the spotlight to it's correct position (pointing at the dart board) and un-stack the tables and chairs from the side of the room, I think it should all be ready to go.

That's all well and good but does anybody know where the key for the toilets at the rear of the room has gone??? I don't think anybody's been in there since the AGM!!!

confused A full debrief? But won't that entail Nij having to dig his way back in again to deliver his report to the Escape Committee?

ION, I am getting rather concerned about my cholesterol levels dropping too low.

What is the safe minimum?

It's a good point well made, it'll also mean ordering another pummel horse seeing as the escape committee insist on any one tunnelling having a pummel horse to work under!!!

Yes, I saw that noted in the "any other business" part oft he agenda. Surely that business has concluded by now? Otherwise, we probably have some more dietary issues to discuss on here.

No need to dig my way back in, I left a trail of white fivers on my way out to encourage a mass escape from Camp Trivia. First one to make it beyond the North Circular gets a goldifsh in a plastic bag and a lifetime's subscription to Razzle wink

Safe minimum...? About two foot six the last time I looked.

I’m just bobbing in to say hello. And Bomma, old chap, please don’t go out on the ‘blade in just jeans and t shirt, it really should be ATGATT (All the bear, all the time). Which, obviously, isn’t any help if you go by my “situation”. On 31 May, it’ll be two years since my “minor off”. That said, you can actually now buy fully protective jeans, which are as good as leathers. Some have “inner” trousers made of Kevlar/Aramid or similar, which can be a bit hot and sweaty, whereas some of the newer types actually have it woven in to th denim, so they look and feel like “normal” jeans, but are still very protective, just without being baking hot when the sun actually pokes out. There are lighter jackets and hoodies/sweatshirts made in a similar manner, but I don’t quite think they’ve quite managed a protective t shirt just yet...

Anyway, The Idiot. I know he has a couple of fans here.

Thanks for the sound advice there old boy, much appreciated. I will get fully togged up before I take it out properly, I think I just had a bit of a 'Top Gun' moment.

Mind, if I remember correctly I think even Maverick wore leathers when he had a blast along the peri track. I believe he was on a Kawasaki Ninja, I stand to be corrected on that one if I'm wrong.

Still not convinced he was tall enough to fly an F14 though. I met an F14 pilot a good few years ago, about five foot eleven he was. He certainly looked the part, had the Oakley sunglasses and a packet of Marlboro.

He had to make an emergency landing at Akrotiri, came from a carrier that was buggering around on exercise out in the Med. Split hydraulic line it was, soon had him patched up and on his way.

Don't know if the USN ever paid the bill, we left that stuff up to the accounts department.

Mmmmmmm, goldifsh. lick
I'm way beyond the North Circular, but I do still suffer from congestion. Do I qualify for my goldifsh? Does it come with a full service history? Or just the subscription to Razzle?

If the safe min. is 2' 6", I should be okay. I used to be just over 6' but 70-odd years of gravity has taken its toll and I'm just a bit under now. But I still bang my head on low doorways.

Headbanger, there's a joke there to do with heads and luggage but I'll resist!!!! smile

I have painted the shed and put an extra piece of wood on the jamb to make it water tight again!!

I'm nowhere near the North Circular and I'm not overly keen on goldfish, my cholesterol is above 2' 6" but I'm well under 6', I've never seen a white fiver and I think he rode a Kawasaki Z750 turbo, but I may be wrong, I often am, just ask Mrs Bobbers!!!!

Give it another half an hour, the Major's nipped out to the Co-Op for some Imodium and a couple of Ginsters pasties.

North Circular? I think I used to use a bit of that when I went to visit my old brother at RAF Uxbridge.

Come to think of it, it could well have been the South Circular, I'm afraid my geography of the area's not particularly good.

It was before they finished building the M25 anyhow. Not that that would have made the journey any quicker. Sodding thing grumpy

Same here.

I've been sat here watching them the last half hour waiting for the escape committee meeting to start. I'm not very good with these military style timingn(I never even finished in Scouts) so may have mixed 0600!with 0900.
