thumbup That's a fantastic set for you GrandBomma!!!
We're off round friends tonight for a meal and a couple of beers!!!

The whole stumbling along with a smile on our faces thing is the very reason we love it here!!!

Hellfire, you've started something of Biblical proportions now fatboy.

She's not interested in the toy, way too sharp for that. The chassis cab has received tumultuous praise, I've tried to explain I don't have the appropriate license to drive it.

"Are you telling me you can't drive properly Pappy? Never mind, we'll have to settle for the Lego one for now. You'll need to do a driving test so we can have one with the trailer".

Bloody hell. Where am I going to keep it?

Please don't give her ideas fatboy, she's looking at pictures of a Vulcan bomber now.

Anyhow, we may have reached a compromise. A pick up truck with a fifth wheel and a trailer. Bit like this:

Can't see much going wrong there.

Blatant thread backtracking alert : just dug this ace bit of trivia out of my musty and much mooched Marcos archive, a clear indication of the mathematical proportional ratio of an actual Jem Marsh to an actual Marcos GT, in broad daylight no less, brought to you by the good offices of those jolly nice 'Road & Track' magazine chappies in 1965...

At ease gentlemen, form an orderly queue at the NAAFI canteen for some character building stodge wink

She loves helicopters, thankfully she's had her chicken korma and is now building her Lego house.

Might well have saved me from clearing the driveway and hiring a trailer.

I don't suppose we know the location of the pic of Marcos n Marsh ?

Looks a bit like Twickenham bridge on the Thames.

I landed my small craft there in a former life, as a salty sea dog.

It might be in Warwickshire.

Y'know, near Bradord-on-Avon.

God moaning one and all, spending the weekend reminiscing with my dear Mother about our respective Xmas holidays, all very pleasant and civilised!!
Back to normality later with stuff to do in the new gaff..............................absolutely loving it and I would say it has had a big effect on my mental health, making me feel so much more stable and less stressed.

How many times will I have to tell myself not to attempt the washing up in my smoking jacket? We have a dishwasher. It's just the odd few bits I tell myself. Wet cuffs until lunchtime. The ignominy.

That's the title, robbo.

Cooped Is Living In A Stable

It's a Whodunnit set in idyllic 1950s Home Counties with an unorthodox detective who drives a wacky car and prefers listening to The Third Programme.
