I'm a little hoarse today.

And I've just had a pony.

It wasn't my little pony though.

Maybe tomorrow I shall be a Unicorn.

Right I'm off to finish my book then it's operation build the Mini!!!!

A book made of Lego? Where will this end, Bobbers?
That would be a great secret place to hide a Lego pistol.
Or a secret Lego hop flask of whisky.
Or a secret Lego code book.
Or the Dirty Vicar's Book of Tits and Bums...

Hop flask? That's not what I typed. rolleyes
Obviously unsuitable for hipsters.

Shirley that would be a Hopster???

nono that is the working title but I changed the character to a mild mannered caretaker with a penchant for hard drinking, loose women and figure skating, I had to change some of the details about my "character" to protect the innocent!!!!

"Hopster": a Hipster amputee that has lost his crutch?

Well, that would be enough to make anybody hop. yikes

And you've used all the dark grey Lego to make the lead pipe that will be discovered in the library.

Yep it was a bugger to use too, kept coming apart when in use, took nearly an hour to bludgeon the victim!!!!!

I don't suppose we know the location of the pic of Marcos n Marsh ?

Looks a bit like Twickenham bridge on the Thames.

I landed my small craft there in a former life, as a salty sea dog.
It might be in Warwickshire.

Y'know, near Bradord-on-Avon.
Bit bleary eyed this morning due to last night's Martini induced binge watching of old Brit gangster filums, but a quick begoogling for pics of the river bridges at Twickers, Bradford-upon-the-actual-Avon and others near the Marcos HQ reveal it's most likely Melksham.

Works medical coming up in the week ahead, must stay away from the Martini bottle for a bit. And find some clean socks, naturally.

And Lo! Bomma's broadband connection has been restored! Had a bit of an interruption in the service kindly provided by Virgin, well one of the Sixteen Vestal ones at least.

But I wandered through my playing cards
And would not let her be
One of sixteen vestal virgins
Who were leaving for the coast
And although my eyes were open
They might just as well have been closed.

Oh, I seem to have digressed a bit there. Never mind.

Anyhow, I see Windsor Davies has passed away, God rest his soul. I really liked 'It Ain't Half Hot, Mum'.

Some years ago I worked with a chap who was remarkably similar to him, except he was a Scot. Politically Correct? Not a bloody chance. He wouldn't last five minutes these days, bloody hilarious at the time though.

Which reminds me of something that went:

A dose of sypphillis in a lon-don taxi,
A fart like thunder from a hor-ses jacksie,
These foolish things,
Remind me of you

Edited for accuracy.
There are more verses but I can't repeat them here for fear of upsetting the sensibilities of our young Lego modelling types.

They don't write them like that any more, do they?
I have been moved to tears. weeping

I can feel them running down my leg. frown

Fantastic Bobbers, looks in better nick than the real one I bought back in 2003! It was a late Cooper Sportspack 500, one previous lady owner, rust under the headlamps and in the door shuts at only three years old, shocking.

Does Lego ever rust I wonder...?

You missed a bit, I can hear it 'fizzing' from here...! No, hold on a mo, that worrying sound I can hear is my own Cooper S rusting away in the garage... eek

Up at the crack of dawn tomorrow for another crack at the Hun, nine hours of shunting troublesome trucks in the Hienkel factory at D.I.R.F.T. just off the A5. Appear to have run out of kippers. Bugger.

I had an early mini 850 - red with a white roof. Always overheated a lot it did. 528 EMO.
Just looked it up:

It’s now a Cooper S....
