Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 31)
Discussion
Barry was driving, I was navigating.
A scenic loop starting and finishing at Cromford where Richard Arkwright built his first cotton mill a short time before I was born.
I had to use the C-Ma_ to meet Barry this morning.
Yesterday I caught Percy's exhaust pulling out of a steeply cambered parking spot, and the clamped joint from the n/s downpipe pulled apart.
I drove home, only half a mile but it was VERY Noisy!
I didn't feel like struggling with it outside in the pouring rain yesterday evening, so I went and picked up the Focus from Percy's garage ready for this
morning.
Another pic of a twisty bit near Crowdecote:
And a stop for refreshment
It was good to get out for a bit.
I shall fix Percy's exhaust tomorrow.

Those look like good driving roads and with a distinct lack of traffic. What part of the country?
Southern half of the Peak District National Park: The White Peak, Derbyshire Dales and N. Staffs Dales.
Between Buxton, Leek, Ashbourne & Matlock.
We have a fantastic playground.
Yes, Bobbers, it was my Bro-in-Law's TVR S2. "Garv" sounds awesome.
People are often moaning on PH about it being pointless owning a decent car to hoof around in when the roads are full of potholes, plebs and speed cameras but there are so many nice roads out there if you take the time to look. The Fosse Way is ten minutes from my door and I can be in the Cotswolds within half an hour, plus there are plenty of nice twisty hilly bits all around my native Warwickshire. Mrs.P5B and I have decided if I don't get called in to work overnight we'll nip down the Cotswolds for a wizz.
